No but you know what? It's not impossible for Vidor to have a good team from time to time. Mid County can't rule every year. We're better than Nederland right now. :P

Yeah' date=' and your still trying to live off of that. 58-7 is the record. One win in district won't get you to the playoffs.[/quote']

Remind me again, who won this year? :?

You're right, my only question is what are you going to change your signature to when that streak ends this year. Or do you plan to leave it up and continue to live in the past.

Why do all the Mid County fans have to live off the past recordsWhat you did for the past ten years means nothing this year. PNG and Ned. fans are the same they think because they went to the playoffs in the past they get a ticket this year!!! Now get real about controling your own future! You still have to play Teams that are much better than yall. Dayton is a loss for everyone in this district I think LCM Central and Lumberton are tough games. Not to mention you have a loss to Vidor already. Get over yourselves! GOOD LUCK VIDOR

Like I said, we control our fate this year. The reason I even respond to this is vidor wins one game and they think its the super bowl. And they are still trying to live off it , griping about rankings and such. Despite the fact that they have only beat Ned twice in the last quarter century.

Big Dog who cares what happened 40 years ago.?.That is crazy..No one cares..Were not acting like we won a superbowl, we are just proud that we won..And no one even brought that up in this thread except someone from Ned..I responded to him saying he is talking trash on us and we beat Ned..

Plus that is this year..You are talking about records 40 something years ago..WHO CARES!!!

Get a life and quit bragging about when Grand Pappy played and beat everyone.and by the way yall aint making the playoffs this year..SORRY!! :?

You guys show too many emotions and feelings.... I tell you what! Someone will beat Dayton in this district... LCM, maybe Central. Central doesn't play well in games they believe to be easy, ie. Houston Sterling. Its like they only want the challenges. They thought Nederland would be a tough win and everyone played well. They thought Lumberton(no disrespect from me at all) and Sterling would be easy wins and played horribly. I think they learned a lesson at Lumberton and I hope they come to play against everyone the rest of the season. I thought this message board was Vidor vs. Central Predictions, not Lumberton vs. Nederland noise talking!

Deep down I do hope Vidor upsets Central but with all the smack and trash crow eating talk from piratefan after beating us , its hard to pull for the underdog. I know piratefan will have a smart #*%$ comment ,always does.

Piratefan, I hate to do it again two weeks in a row, but as much as I want to pick Vidor I just can't do with Cantral having Brandon Williams. If your defense can score on them, then I say you might have a shot at an upset. Good luck and I hope I am wrong.

I will say:

Central 24

Vidor 13

Central should beat Vidor

If they dont beat Vidor then look for more excuses from Shorty.

    • naw, maaaaybe 7, definitely not 8 deep.  today im avoiding sitting by #10s parents, had to move away yesterday.   "put my son back in jub, put my son back in"  and then crying on every little touch of someone.    lets ball out today ktz!
    • Very close game until the 2nd half (mostly the 4th) when Orangefield came unraveled. Worse defensive effort I have seen out of the Bobcats in three years. This team has to get back on D and quit getting beat over the top when pressing. Offensively, non ball handlers continually turn it over and their shot selection is poor. Basic basketball, such as: defensive hustle, boxing out, and taking care of the basketball are the areas the Bobcats need to work on most. Whitmire will get them on point, but he shouldn't have to coach effort at the Varsity Level.  We'll be at McNeese this Friday night at 6pm.
    • I don’t benefit from it, that’s not my area.  But the average cost to imprison someone is around $15k per year (on average in the US) and capital cases cost somewhere between $1.5-$3M with over half being overturned or reduced to life in prison anyway.  These numbers may be inflated since the last report I read but I’m sure it would be on both sides and higher on the DP side if anything. So what’s the point?  We feel better because we got to return the favor on someone (hopefully) who committed a heinous crime?  And I don’t know I can say we have “complicated” it. Which appeal should we cut out?  Our justice system has a pecking order and we have higher courts for a reason. When we are about to impose the ultimate judgment, should we cut steps that other cases have to save a buck?  Or do we not pay for an indigent person’s experts at the trial court level because it’s too expensive? Or do we just lock them up and throw away the key (unless we later find out they weren’t actually guilty, in which case we have a key and a life we haven’t unjustly ended) and save a ton of money?  Seems to me to be an obvious solution but I’m more of a pragmatist.
    • 1 thing for certain. Coach Earned 3 more years to figure it out lol
