Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Yeah, and your still trying to live off of that. 58-7 is the record. One win in district won't get you to the playoffs.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 No but you know what? It's not impossible for Vidor to have a good team from time to time. Mid County can't rule every year. We're better than Nederland right now.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Yeah' date=' and your still trying to live off of that. 58-7 is the record. One win in district won't get you to the playoffs.[/quote'] Remind me again, who won this year? :?
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Again, see ya next year. 8) 8) 8)
Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 We'll see who is in the playoffs and whos sitting at home.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 You're right, my only question is what are you going to change your signature to when that streak ends this year. Or do you plan to leave it up and continue to live in the past.
Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Where's vidor's streak to put in your sig? Ned controls its fate for the rest of the season.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Okay, I'm done with Big Dog. This thread is suppose to be about Predictions for the Vidor/ Central game.
Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Good answer. :? Yall better get ready for that Central QB.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I hope they control their fate better than they controlled the Vidor running game.
Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I guess we'll see. They had a pretty good second half against PNG's running game. 3 points allowed.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 You're right, that QB for Central sounds dangerous. I hope our D brings their A game this week.
Guest vidorpride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It sounds like Ned. may have turned the corner last week. Good Luck the rest of the way out.
Guest maverick24 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Why do all the Mid County fans have to live off the past recordsWhat you did for the past ten years means nothing this year. PNG and Ned. fans are the same they think because they went to the playoffs in the past they get a ticket this year!!! Now get real about controling your own future! You still have to play Teams that are much better than yall. Dayton is a loss for everyone in this district I think LCM Central and Lumberton are tough games. Not to mention you have a loss to Vidor already. Get over yourselves! GOOD LUCK VIDOR
Bigdog Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Like I said, we control our fate this year. The reason I even respond to this is vidor wins one game and they think its the super bowl. And they are still trying to live off it , griping about rankings and such. Despite the fact that they have only beat Ned twice in the last quarter century.
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Like i said in the other thread i'm glad to see them and LCM and Lumberton doing well. We'll see what happens this week.
piratefan Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Like I said' date=' we control our fate this year. Big Dog who cares what happened 40 years ago.?.That is crazy..No one cares..Were not acting like we won a superbowl, we are just proud that we won..And no one even brought that up in this thread except someone from Ned..I responded to him saying he is talking trash on us and we beat Ned.. Plus that is this year..You are talking about records 40 something years ago..WHO CARES!!! Get a life and quit bragging about when Grand Pappy played and beat everyone.and by the way yall aint making the playoffs this year..SORRY!! :?
shorttexas1 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 You guys show too many emotions and feelings.... I tell you what! Someone will beat Dayton in this district... LCM, maybe Central. Central doesn't play well in games they believe to be easy, ie. Houston Sterling. Its like they only want the challenges. They thought Nederland would be a tough win and everyone played well. They thought Lumberton(no disrespect from me at all) and Sterling would be easy wins and played horribly. I think they learned a lesson at Lumberton and I hope they come to play against everyone the rest of the season. I thought this message board was Vidor vs. Central Predictions, not Lumberton vs. Nederland noise talking!
Guest 1motime Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Deep down I do hope Vidor upsets Central but with all the smack and trash crow eating talk from piratefan after beating us , its hard to pull for the underdog. I know piratefan will have a smart #*%$ comment ,always does.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 And ya'll didn't do that to us???????????
BH89 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Piratefan, I hate to do it again two weeks in a row, but as much as I want to pick Vidor I just can't do with Cantral having Brandon Williams. If your defense can score on them, then I say you might have a shot at an upset. Good luck and I hope I am wrong. I will say: Central 24 Vidor 13

bronco1 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Central is the favorite but, I think Vidor has enough defense to stop'em. Saturday morning headline: "Vidor hands Central shocking upset".
