Bobcatfan4life Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Nederland got their first district win last week against PNG. Ozen lost big to LCM. Nederland gets their second district win... Nederland 28 Ozen 7
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 WON'T FIND ANY OZEN FOLK THIS WEEK...WELL,MAYBE THE PARENTS!!!! ANYONE SEEN A BASKETBALL!!!!! NEDERLAND NEDERLAND NEDERLAND NEDERLAND BIGGGGGGG!!!!
dme1111 Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Nederland by 21. If mosley is 100% nederland by about 35-40. He is an amazing athlete. Last night you could tell he was hurting and still ran for 275. If our defense tightens up and mosley is healthy we WILL make the playoffs. Our only possible loss will be to a very good dayton team.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 UM let's see. Nederland by 28
Pimp Smack Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 MOSLEY SHOULD RUN ALL OVER THE PLACE, BUT YOU CANT UNDERESTIMATE ANYONE.
NedDog Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 MOSLEY SHOULD RUN ALL OVER THE PLACE' date=' BUT YOU CANT UNDERESTIMATE ANYONE.[/quote'] Nope. The moment our players & coaches start to think that this game will be an easy "W" is the moment we will not only lose the game, but any hope for the playoffs. We need to treat our game with Ozen like it is the biggest game of the year because this week, for Nederland, it is. The Dogs need to somehow find a way to maintain the same intensity they had for PNG throughout the remainder of the season.
Matt Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 I think LC-M just might get that 3rd spot, the next 2 weeks should give a pretty clear picture of who is the best team in the district
Pimp Smack Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 IM PRETTY SURE THIS IS THE OZEN NEDERLAND PREDICTIONS THREAD, NOT THE LCM IS OVERRATED THREAD.
MikeEast Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 That is the key for Nederland. They need to treat every game,,, no every snap like their season hinges on that moment. The showed last night that when they focus, they are a good defense but when they relax in the least, the wheels immediately fall off. This defense has virtually no talent or playmakers and if they are going to succeed its going to be due to hard work and unwavering focus on execution on every single play. If they treat every play like its a goal line stand in a State Championship game they just might do ok, but if they let up 1 little bit, Ozen, LCM Dayton and Lumberton will all have their way with them.
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 I'm hoping we have straightened things out. Now we need to take just 1 at a time and go from there.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Dear dme 111, I can c yall losing more than the DAYTON game.Your D must step up at some point. The stumble your talking about can't be CENTRAL huh? 63-24 don't sound like a stumble to me.Sounds like a BLOWOUT Really though,ya'll can lose on any night, not just in the DAYTON ROUT!!!!!
dme1111 Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 I did not say anything about a stumble.... I said if our defense tightens up.... big if... Our offense is good enough to win all the games... The big question is defense.
Lucky Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Break out the round ball, Football is over for Ozen this year !
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 dme 1 1 1 1, I'm sorry, your right.Nothing about a stumble,my bad. Good luck the rest of the way.
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Have to say the Dogs by 21
adminbaberuth Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 This game scares me. Ozen has always played the Dogs tough, it's really hard to fathom the Panthers being down with the playmakers they always seem to have. The wins we get from now on will be by 10 or less.
NedDog Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Yeah, let's not forget that Ozen scored their first ever points in varsity football against Nederland. This team should not be taken lightly.
Raiderdad Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Nederland ....LARGE. Hold the rope Raiders!!
NedDog Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 The last time I saw wild predictions like this, we lost to Vidor. Suffice it to say, the Dogs need to keep their heads in this game and not pay any attention to any of the hype they may read leading up to this Friday night. We have all seen just how much validity there is in predictions. :?
77 Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 After watching the Central- Ned game I can say I hope neds defense shows up because Ozen has the speed to break a long one. Ned should have no problem scoring. Good luck to both.
