horndawg Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Both cubbards (sp?) are bare. It's going to be who can outscore the other.. I really wish Hales was 100%. I'd feel pretty confident

BrenhamFan Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I would start Loux... It is do or die and Miami IMO is one of the top 3 gems in the country. Atleast the top 5. Go Ags!!! Whoop!!!
horndawg Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I think he threw 5 innings this year, and they are trying to get a medical redshirt for him. Just what I've heard I'm not completely sure
bulldog6 Posted June 7, 2010 Author Report Posted June 7, 2010 Ross Stripling, the Saturday starter for A&M against Miami, will start tonight for the Ags. I think Rob Childress is hoping to get 3+ innings out of Stripling before handing the ball over to Nick Fleece, who threw 2.1 scoreless innings against the Canes Saturday, and Shane Minks. I also wouldn't be surprised if Clayton Ehlert got an inning in relief if it comes down to it.Miami will counter with Eric Whaley, their Friday starter against Dartmouth.
bulldog6 Posted June 7, 2010 Author Report Posted June 7, 2010 Looks like a rain/lightning delay will push the start time back at least 20-30 minutes.

bulldog6 Posted June 7, 2010 Author Report Posted June 7, 2010 very happy for Barret.....he really improved his draft stock this year
horndawg Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Happy for him but wish he was coming back for his senior year.
bulldog6 Posted June 8, 2010 Author Report Posted June 8, 2010 Miami's catcher Yasmani Grandal gets popped #12 overall by the Cincinnati Reds

PhatMack19 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Ags need to get Stripling off of the mound if they want to have a shot. They can't afford to get too far behind.
PhatMack19 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Miami leads 3-2 in the bottom of the 2nd. Another rain delay

Guest JoesBros Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I was going to say they are both wet ;)
BrenhamFan Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Anybody else think Loux is the best option to stop Miami's potent offense?

horndawg Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Now that Loux has an extra day I imagine he will be the man after another inning or two after stripling. Going to be interesting
PhatMack19 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 Game will resume at noon tommorrow and will not be televised.http://www.aggieathletics.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/060710aab.html
