bojonomore Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 I'm not going to make one, because I don't know anything about returning starters/upcoming players, etc...But let's hear some predictions
bojonomore Posted June 15, 2010 Author Report Posted June 15, 2010 1. LCM2. Ozen3. Nederland4. Central5. Livingston6. Vidor7. Lumberton8. PNG
Coach Schrapps Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 PNG in the cellar?? Doty's good enough to lead his team to a much better result than that.

ForeverADog Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Doty is good enough to beat Vidor and Lumberton himself... My rankings go like this:1. Nederland- Top 3 scorers return from a district championship team. All they have to do is feed it down low to win games. I only question point guard play.2. Ozen- Talent is still there after a relatively young team from last year.3. Central- Hopefully for their sake can be more consistant from last year...4. LCM- Hunter Gonzalez should lead them back into the playoffs.5. Livingston- Not sure what they have coming back or coming up but always a decent team.6. PNG- As stated earlier Doty is real good.7. Vidor- Nothing really there for me to think they can make any real noise.8. Lumberton- See Vidor above.
bojonomore Posted June 16, 2010 Author Report Posted June 16, 2010
7. Vidor- Nothing really there for me to think they can make any real noise.8. Lumberton- See Vidor above.
I would give Vidor the edge because of Williamson
ForeverADog Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 Williamson us good but I still like Doty more. Both really good players just no depth on their teams
CThoops Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010
1. LCM2. Ozen3. Nederland4. Central5. Livingston6. Vidor7. Lumberton8. PNG
You really think that or are just a true fan? Its great to pull for your team but there is no way they are better than Nederland, Central, and Ozen.
Coach Schrapps Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 PNG had a freshman who I would think would be on varsity this year as a sophomore. And like was said earlier I'll take Doty over Williamson, and Lumberton? They would be my pick for cellar dwellers.
TexazBall Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 This Central Team comeing Up Is very Good.1.Central2.Ozen3.Nederland4.L.C.M
team first Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 1. Ozen has good guard play and big kid back2. Central has most talented guard back with others back3. LCM has almost everybody back4. Nederland has some pretty good ones back5. Vidor only lost a point guard6. Livingston, lost 2 or 3 good ones but they are loaded at younger levels7. PNG is always tough with a kid named Dotty and some other experience back8. Not sure ( Lumberton )Note: Heard the Livingston coach is headed to College Station!Overall Picture: Will most likely come down to the last game like this past year.

On the other I mainly put that just to get some replies...its kinda hard to do during the summer ;D

Never thought I would see the day Ozen started counting summer league wins.
Aint that the truth.. lol But anyways, these summer league games just get the kids to stay playing some type of competitive bball instead of sit around. There are three good teams that so far have looked better than the rest, Nederland, Ozen, and Central, will compete for a district championship.
CThoops Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010
Yall better be glad HF isn't in 4-A ;D
;D District champs first year?
bojonomore Posted August 9, 2010 Author Report Posted August 9, 2010 LCM lost the big 6' 5'' sophomore center who had started on varsity his first year of playing organized basketball.Jordan Wells moved to Oregon over the summer. This is very depressing news for Bears fans who were looking forward to a team that only lost 2 of it top 7 scorers.
BEasy Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Ozen's varsity beat Nederland's sophomores by one in summer league. Not saying they won't win district, but this is the weakest Ozen team in the history of the school.

They dont seem like the top notch Basketball team in the distrcit. Central and Nederland are the two best teams IMO..And that game was just sumer league, but it showed that the JV team for Nederland will be pretty darn good. ;)
