Jasper played defense tonight, Alvis came in and threw strikes. Angelle pitched well, Jacob Felts had a great 2 games with the bat and made a great defensive play. Orangefield had a great season and has alot to be proud of.

Jasper has a good chance to win it all.

Great season Bobcats.  Keep your heads up.  It has been a privilege watching most of you the past four years.  Best of luck to the seniors.  It was a fun ride.

I have to share this about Jacob Felts.  After the game tonight I was able to get to talk to him and the first thing he said to me was "I'm sorry we did not get to state".  I told him he didn't have to apologize for anything.  What a great baseball player and even better young man.  It was fun watching him and Jace Statum the past four years.  I have some great memories I will never forget.

So many great player for Jasper to recognize.  Parker, Sowell, Alvis, Phillips, Burleson, etc.  A great bunch of kids and alot of fun to watch...  Gotta recognize Coach Steve Smith for the job he does calling pitches and getting the most out of his pitchers...  Keep it going Bulldogs!
