Prayers for one of our own

Recommended Posts

Last night, our SETXsports.com Administrator and Broadcaster Mike Sanchez was admitted to a hospital in Beaumont with chest pains.  Even though it does not appear to be life threatening, he was kept overnight for observation and is supposed to be checked out by a cardiologist this morning.

Please keep Mike, his wife and kids, in your prayers today.

And we (and hopefully sometime today, he) will keep y'all posted on his condition.

Get well soon, Mike!

Just talked with "AggieAreWe" on the phone.  He feels a bit better today but is having a reaction to some of the medication that he has had.  They are testing just about everything in and on his body.  He has not yet been examined by a cardiologist; I suppose the "Big Guy" waits for all the test results before he wanders in to pronounce the course of action.  Mike is in room 304 at Baptist Herman Hospital in Beaumont.  Use discretion in trying to reach him.

This is Mike's wife, Lisa. All of Mike's lab work for heart attack have come back negative so far, which is good. We are waiting for the last round of blood work to come back. Sometimes it takes many hours for damage to show up. We're crossing our fingers that it'll still be negative. He has been having some symptoms the last few days, but felt really bad last night...enough to go to the ER. When Mike Sanchez asks for the hospital I know he needs it!! I'll keep you posted on what we find out tonight since it looks like we'll be staying another night. He is in room 304 at Baptist. Mike wants everyone to know how much he appreciates the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. You can reach me via Facebook as Lisa Wiess Sanchez or through the forum. I'll check in often, per the boss man. Again thanks for checking in on us. It means a lot to Mike. Many thanks, Lisa

Good morning everyone. This is Lisa again. Mike had a better night. He feels tons better now that the nitroglycerin patch is history. The cardiologist had confirmed yesterday that he had not had a heart attack, so we were really relieved about that. So now we're waiting to find out what else might be going on. He just got back from part one of his stress test and will do the walking part after lunch. We will be waiting on two drs today; the cardiologist and internal medicine guy. Not sure if they'll order any more tests thinking he may have a herniated disk in his neck and not sure if we will be staying another night or not. He's up and around and his regular ornery self...maybe that's good or bad depending on which side of his karma you are on. Anyway, we'll be updating as we hear something. We were disappointed to hear Jasper lost last night and want to congratulate them on a great season. Best of luck to the Evadale Rebels today. Mike wanted me to say thanks once again for the well wishes, comments, thoughts and prayers.Smiles, Lisa

    • In a video released Monday, Raja Cholan, a top official at the U.S. National Library of Medicine under the NIH, admitted to an undercover OMG operative he doubts jab efficacy and hasn’t “gotten the latest COVID shots and I’m not going to.”  “I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS OUT LOUD;” Chief Confesses COVID Health Initiatives Were "COMPLETELY MADE UP”. "I don’t even know if these vaccines stop you from getting COVID. They don’t.” Adds, "We're all going to learn [about vaccine safety] when it's too late," as Pfizer & Moderna "are just getting a bunch of money… Vaccines were accelerated through the approval.” ‘We fly under the radar of being scrutinized…I don't think I have too much to worry about.’ Trump victory “worse for the NIH.” “It would be better for a Democrat to be in office.” WOW!!!!
    • The same reason you worry about Trump more than anything else. Why do trolls like yourself start threads like your Soros hedge fund thread and you never come back to…..just bait. Newsom might make a run for president in 2028. People need to know about his policies. You don’t think that’s important?
    • I like Newton’s chances here. I’ve watched  videos of Daingerfield what few I could get. Their big Qb scares me a little he looks Ike a good athlete. I think for a change Newton has a little more speed than the Tigers. That Samuel kid for Newton can move., and it goes without saying about Porter. That Hunter kid ain’t bad either. They scared me to death with their pass defense against Edgewood until I saw the video. That Qb for Edgewood can put it on a dime. And, his receivers could catch it. I’m pumped; this is the most fun time of the year for me. Go Eagles.🦅 I have to add this though. I watched the State game between the tigers and Yoe in 2010. Those guys looked like grown men playing as opposed to kids now a days who look like boys.😂 that was a heck of a good game.
