weslinder
Chris followed up a 77 yesterday with a good 72 today. That puts him at 7-over and just making the cut. Unless a lot more of the afternoon start players play under par, Chris is in good shape to play tomorrow. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this be his first time to make a cut in a Major? numbertwo
Yeah, it'll be Stroud's first cut made at a major, even though he's just played in the three previous U.S. Opens. Graeme McDowell with early 2nd round lead at -3. Dustin Johnson highest American right now at -1.
bullets13
on a day where almost everyone has struggled, tiger shot a 5-under 66 to vault up the leaderboard. he was 7-under on his last 15 holes. he's currently alone in 3rd @ 1-under, although there are two golfers at -5. only 5 golfers have made it to the clubhouse with scores under par, and none close to his -5. we'll have to wait and see if the leaders fall back to him at all. even if they don't, they're both young, and his presence alone might be enough to mess them up tomorrow.
