What you missed while away:

1. After winning state in the 80's, WOS has finally realized they won't win state again
2. Kirbyville is kicking Jasper and WOS tail after being the step-child for so many years
3. WOS named their stadium after a Barbers Hill alumn
4. BMT Centra passed enough players to field a team for a full season (few cheerleader banged-up in the process)
5. BMT (school not named) coaches hosted a porn video viewing.
6. Vidor ran all over South East Texas.
7. Lumberton had a decent team, once.
8. Dayton swept 20-4A, even after players steal school laptops
9. Hardin gets turff before BH
10. Astros REALLY suck!

Welcome home, scooter!  But unfortunately, bh89-2 didn't quite get to all of the news:

1.  Despite the loud complaints about his coaching ability, Barbers Hill's long time coach lead the Eagles to the 4A playoffs
2.  Despite the fact that the long time coach Barbers Hill coach lead the Eagles to the playoffs, they still complained in Barbers Hill
3.  After the years of complaints, the long time Barbers Hill coach decided that he would rather coach a team that went 0-10 last year than coach again in Barbers Hill
4.  Barbers Hill protested to the UIL about Kirbyville moving up to 3A, because in the event that BH moves down to 3A, they know they can't beat Kirbyville
5.  Barbers Hill did hire a coach and athletic director who has won state championships
6.  Barbers Hill promptly began complaining that this new coach was running off long time coaches in other sports
7.  Dave Rogers, formerly of the PA News, and currently with the Baytown Sun, is either Jesus or Satan, depending on who you ask
8.  Crosby looked at the wrong calender, thought it was the 70's and overrulled their coach on playing a certain team in Orange County
9.  Port Arthur Memorial got turf before Nederland
10.  The Astros REALLY, REALLY suck!!!

2. Newton's Barbay deceides he better stop bringing the past records book to the Kirbyville game and come up with a actual game plan.
3. Barbers Hill realizes that they are not welcome in the Houston area and cant beat anyone from the Golden Triangle area so they blame their coaches.
4. WOS cheerleaders photo shoot causes cell phone contraversy that is heard all the way to Oklahoma so Volleyball team steps up and replaces cheerleaders.
5. Famous porn film is renamed "Debbie does [s]Dallas [/s] Ozen".
6. Pirates pet "POLLY" apprently had something to do with game being cancelled because Crosby said something about too many "crackers".
7. PNG proves two things the past few years: (1) they still have more money than anyone and (2) GOOD coaches do make a difference.
8. Who are the Astros?
