FYI - the head WBB coach at New Orleans (which is still Div I for at least the next two years) is the AD. I believe Tidwell and her are the only two in the country to do dual duties now that La Tech's football coach/AD moved on.

I've heard Lamar will be getting a new WBB coach next year (hope he hires a good one) and Coach Tidwell will only be the AD. Something I didn't know was his current salary.  He currently makes $120,756 per year plus benefits according to his employment contract, which runs through 2012. This salary was prior to him being elevated to the interim AD.

He has to be the highest paid WBB coach in the SLC. But, having to do both WBB/AD he needs a large raise but Lamar is currently on a hiring freeze.

i don't think that is the case... Tid  loves coaching..... however, if it is.... I would not be surprised to see asst. joey wells take the head job.

He has proven to be a very good WBB coach. I feel he will do the same as A/D. We need to keep the girls program going in the same direction and get our other sports to follow.
