Are you sure he is not? If is not good for him and maybe something good will happen to him like getting out of the zoo.
WOSgrad Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 I gotta repeat etbu's question. Are we sure that he is no longer the football head coach? I mean I got an e-mail from the man a few weeks ago when I asked him some info on Cleveland's season/
biggen Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 he was reassigned tuesday, and resigned wednesday....he got a raw deal if you ask me

What can you say bc we do not know the details but hence messed up. He is a Cleveland boy right? Most of his staff is from Cleveland right? Again this is not the first time they have canned a good man. Jimmy Thompson was a good one and he got out before the gavel fell. Not to slam the place but it is a messed up place to coach in my opinion. Hope Coach Ricky the best and sorry it came to this for him. Cleveland will be Cleveland without or with him.
liltex Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Where are all those great Whitmire atheletes from years past 8)
C-TOWN Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Ricky Tullos will be greatly missed in our town, our superintendent is corrupt, we will never have a better A.D. than what Ricky was, this man cared about his kids and went great lengths to help any student that he could...... Our superintendent had a personal agenda on sending Ricky down the road, he did this on his own without a school board vote, I only hope that we as a community can come together and send Kerry Cowart down the road. Ricky we wish you the best of luck where ever you go, and remember, Cleveland Indians will never be the same without you guys.
WOSgrad Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Well, I never met Coach Tullos personally. But I do know that every time I requested information about his kids, he did so in manner to promote those kids that he coached.Coach Tullos, good luck at wherever this wacky world of coaching takes you!!!

playdefense Posted June 21, 2010 Report Posted June 21, 2010 Cleveland simply put is always in turmoil. They just cannot stand any success. Always have to find issues and cause turmoil. I have never seen such a small town have so many problems - year after year after year. Amazing.

Coach Tullos was the best thing we had going in a long time, but when you have 10 lbs. of good, fighting 90 lbs. of BS the good always gets covered up. The ones making the decisions in Cleveland need to remember, when you speak and you hear an echo, pull you head out of the sand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

w Posted June 23, 2010 Report Posted June 23, 2010 I took special note of this quote from the super at Cleveland...“He is seeking a district that will give him the opportunity to maximize his leadership and coaching skills to their fullest,†Cowart said.Does that mean that Cleveland will not allow a coach to maximize his leadership and coaching skills to their fullest?Good luck to Coach Tullos.
C-TOWN Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 Everyone in our community said the same thing, our Super. finds football to really be a waste of time, what do you expect from someone who has no atheletic ability. Half of our squads are wanting to go play football elsewhere, we have a 9th grade squad coming up that has been undefeated for the past 2 years that has looked forward to going to high school to be able to play for Ricky, its a great disappointment for all these kids, I dont think Kerry Cowart considered these kids one bit, he was looking for a power trip and Ricky just so happened to be the one whom he went after. We wish Ricky and his family the best of luck. He will be truely missed!

Just drive south on 321, rent an apartment, and enroll.

Guest baseball25 Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Back in the Day who do you think the leading Candiate would be out of these 3?
DP#1FAN Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 He would be a very good one to get. I feel like it will take some major $$$$$$$ to get him.

They all are super coachs with their own strengths.
