How many games must you play during the regular season before you are eligible
for All Star selection?

I think the rule used to say that you had to participate in 60% of the games.

If you play in two games during the regular season and get hurt and are out for the rest of the season you are still eligible for All Stars because you played 60 percent of the two games you were actually eligible?.

If the player played 2 games then got injured and missed remaining games due to the injury he would be eligible for Allstars. He would be eligible for allstars because he played in 100% of the games he was eligible to play in.

I take that as...your league has 10 regular season games, he has to play in 6 full  games

Player has to be eligible to play. If injured, the player is not eligible until released by the doctor. If player is playing school ball he is not eligible to play if they conflict.

Actually, we had that situation happen at Amelia/West End Baseball 3 years ago.  One of our catchers broke his hand.  Missed most of the season.  But because he played in all games he was eligible, he qualified for All Stars and played.  No questions asked through district, sectionals, and state.

Yea, I don't think the Little League folks are out to punish a kid from All-Stars because he got hurt! That would be insane. ::)

Last year my son played in 4 games and then had knee surgery. He was ruled ineligible for not playing in enough games.

The rule states [i]Any player that has participated as an elibible player in 60% of the regular season games[/i] So if a player is listed as ineligible in more than 40% of the games they are not able to play on an all star team
