He caught it a little out in front and rolled it over, just solid enough to sneak past the 3b, through the 6 hole and into left field for a single. And, just like that, Tim Ferguson had a hit in his first professional at bat, on his first professional swing.Like I said, it wasn't much, but, to me, it was worth the world. I could not be prouder.
