Green Menace Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 This is exactly how Johnny Jones at North Texas has succeeded the past four years. Junior college recruits and transfers from some of the larger programs.
Guest mffl Posted June 28, 2010 Report Posted June 28, 2010 Lately, your man Johnny has gotten some good HS and prep school players. Wish we could dive into the prep school thing but Stoneridge Prep never worked out for us.

You have kids who are usually older than your average /typical freshman class. It's like playing one year of junior college but a player still has 4 years of eligibility left, instead of one or two years with JUCO players. Kid is use to be away from home.
