AggiesAreWe Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Well, I am not saying that Kirbyville is scared (but then again ;) ;D), but they haven't fared too well over their history against the Jasper's, Newton's, Silsbee's and WOS's.WOS is undefeated against them.Silsbee is 13-1 all time against them.Jasper and Newton has pretty much dominated their series all time against Kirbyville. But Kirbyville has come on as of late. ;) ;D(Wow, this post looks too much like an enemy of mine's past posts) ;D

Speedkills Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 I thought we were talking about Kirbyville and Jasper playing during the 2010 season. Must have thought wrong the only way anyone can seem to beat Kirbyville is if they bring up the past before the Alvarez era or when Alvarez first started building the program. The fact is this forum was started based on the 2010 game between Kirbyville and Jasper ;). And by the way Silsbee fans in case you didnt watch the scrimmage last season we scored on the first play of scrimmage and also dominated it the whole way through. So keep up with those scores from the past if you want to but from here on out things have changed.

Speedkills Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 Well obviously Wosgrad we have a little bit to prove against you guys but regardless the questionable call (the right call was made) last season against you guys last season we gave them mustangs a lot better game than we ever have and they will continue to be like that and better ;)

Speaking of that scrimmage, I guess you forgot about the first time JJ touched the ball (Silsbee's first offensive play) he went 65 yards, untouched, for a TD.Scrimmage ended up tied at 1-1. The domination you speak of was simply not there. Must be looking through those red and black glasses. Domination would be what I posted earlier. 21-1 all-time! But if you insist on counting just the Jack years, 3-1, with the lone Wildcat win the 1 pointer. ::)
Speedkills Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 While we are on the subject of long runs the first time LeFredrick Ford touched the ball it was also a 65 yard touchdown run untouched.
AstrosDawg07 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 I just don't know if Kirbyville should be talking such noise when they have really only been good for less than a decade. Make the dominance last for 20+ years or so before yall go blasting everyone. The Jaspers, Newton, Silsbees, WOSs, are known state wide for their dominance and athletes. Hell Alvarez made a name for himself in Jasper!

Kville_Kats Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Sounds like a lot of Kirbyville bashing to me...There's a bad moon on the rise for all the so called "power house teams"...Nothing is forever except the love of God..Every dog 's gonna have his day...All I can say is..."ROLL OVER ROVER"...Moon's coming up... ;D ;D ;D

Land95 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 If you truly love Texas High School Football you love the history of it that why we bring up the Powerhouse thing. Im a Jasper Bulldog for life but just like K-ville we been to the mountion top and got knocked off. This game will be a great game win are not hopefuly both team will go to state!!

Silsbee didnt beat Kirbyville 42-22....dats Wrong! Actually we lost by a touchdown. Pearce Rhodes had his way with yall.
Guest rykerx144 Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Actually the score was 42-32. Pierce Rhodes was like 28 carries for 170 yards. Hardly having your way with someone. I think most of his yards was received in the second half though which was pretty impressive for the D that Silsbee had that year. I think the person that had their way that night was that DB for Silsbee I think it was Johnson. I think he had like five int's.

BTW, the score was 42-32 in 2006, that was a typo of mine. But, if I remember correctly, Silsbee had a huge lead in this game, at one time led 35-13.
