Again you are talking Team stats were we were talking individual stats, But that was last year, lets see who does what this year. HJ is playing in a tuff dist. were they could be 1st or 3d just as eazy. I wish them all the luck in the world and will pull for them just like last year, And if we get knocked out of the playoff first, we will be there pulling for them again this year.

BS isn't gonna be in the EC tourney this year? If not I hate that because that's usually where I get to see them after they have been on the floor awhile.Evadale wasn't bad this summer True but they didn't look like a taem with the potential to go real deep.They will be real well coached and will win the games their supposed to win.On the 2-a level they don't match up well with Kountze,Anahuac or EC.Nobody beats Big Sandy at home and while it won't be a district match up any longer Spurger will be the class of the 1-a clubs locally.From my observations this summer Persohn from HJ was the most improved player I saw on any of the clubs.People that didn't see him this summer are gonna be surprised.

I agree Evadale would not be within 20 of Kountze even with Kountze having a rebuilding year....

I realy hope that Evadale does draw some of the top 2a teams in one of the tour. Some people will be surprised, they might get out run but they wont get out played on the boards. So  who ever they  play better shoot a real high %. or they could get beat by a little 1a team.

Evadale had enough returning players to match up with some of the local 2-a clubs but they won't beat the better ones in the area.I think Kountze,Anahuac and EC are the cream of the 2-a crop around here in the upcoming season.All 3 of these clubs are gonna pressure the ball and score off their defense.That would create match up nightmares for Evadale.The Rebels will match up well against Buna, Hardin and Deweyville, those would be good ballgames to watch.

please tell me how kountze could have any mismatch since they dont have but one kid that is over 6', same goes with anahuac they have no size and dont have any really good shooters ether, and east chambers does have a little bit of size but there biggest kid is the PG and they have to play a very slow pace game bc they only have like two kids that can move with the ball.... so i really dont see any match up nightmares for evadale since they have 4 kids 6'4 and taller and 3 others that r 6' over and they have 3 really good shooters and have some kids that can move with the ball too

[/quote]Im assuming whatever team your son ended up on was the team that had it all. At first it was E.C, then Hj had everything during the summer, now its Evadale. Have your son ever led a team to the playoffs, state, or some sort of Championship. Seems like he ends up more off the court then on the court!!

To answer your question yes He did help Ec get in the playoffs last year By being the 3 leading score 1 in rebounds 1 in blockshoots. And I still stand behind saying HJ will be at the top of their Dist. and EC will be at the top of theirs. So what has changes?? All three teams are good teams and with him on one of them they were a little better, by having someone with that length to help on the inside. I watch teams last year change the way they played to keep him from blocking shots, their post guit trying to get the ball inside and they became a jump shooting team. But just asking what team do you support or do you just get on to put down everone???

The mismatch I spoke of with Kountze and Anahuac are all about speed.They aren't going to walk the ball up the floor and wait on people to come set up in the lane.They are going to pressure the ball run the floor and score on the break.I've watched them do it ALOT over the last  several years including ALOT this summer.Once again Evadale will be very well coached and will win the games their supposed to win.One player won't make them a state contender (unless Stallworth decides to move from Silsbee over there).I'm ready for em to toss it up.

You cant bace anything on a summer league game ,with a running clock no foul count and no coach. I have watch all the teams that you are tlalking about play the real games. JMO Evadale can play with all of them. But that is something that we will get to see in just a few weeks ;D

[/quote]I can base talent whether it's summer league or playing in the parking lot.The clubs I mentioned in 2-a will be down from last year but they are still probably 15 points better than the Rebels.
