[/quote]I can base talent whether it's summer league or playing in the parking lot.The clubs I mentioned in 2-a will be down from last year but they are still probably 15 points better than the Rebels.
[/quote]Hopefully they get a chance to play each other this year and we can see just how much you know about talent. I have been watching small school ball for allmost 30 yrs and most of the time it is not who has the most talented players, but how the two teams match up.

[/quote]Read this post again True.I didn't say that Kountze,Anahuac or EC would have a lot more talent(but they will).I said they would create match up nightmares which is what you said wins games.I agree with that 100%.I don't mean this to down Evadale at all, I was impressed with them this summer they just did not match up well with teams that push the ball and pressure the floor.Inserting the big kid won't speed up the Rebels.They will make the playoffs without a doubt.I wish I could say I had only been watching small school ball for 30 years.

I guess for now we will just have to agree to just disagree at this time. ;) I know that all these teams are in some of the same tour. this year, so I hope that they get to settle this on the floor.

The 6'4 kid played all summer... True Blue he played against your son at HJ this summer when Kountze won at the last second..

[/quote]Ok I rembember that but just did not think he was that tall. That was the game were my son hurt his knee, so I was not watching much after that. If that was their post kid he was a good player.  A little smaller than the HJ kids but played hard..  But like I have said hope that they all get to play each other this year. Love Fridaynight lights But cant wait for the first jump ball. I know that there a lot of people on here that dont care for what I post, But I have not nor will I ever put down another Kid. I dissagree with coaches quite often But thats not the kids faught. I have, and allways will stand up for my son, as I would hope all of you would for yours. Lets all get ready for another great year in SETX basketball.
