Lumberton is my dark horse team this year.  I didn't have them making the playoffs, but I won't be surprised if they are there.

Yep. The Broncos learned this firsthand not too long ago. None of them "chuckled" at all.  8)

Well last year NOBODY played a better defensive game against Vidor w/the 3 headed monster as I witnessed the Raiders hold those Pirates to (1) first down @ halftime & although they lost a few folks they should be considered a threat since they were in alot of close games including going toe to toe(not my way wide fg's)w/Silsbee as I saw the last half of that one.

I really think we will not do as good as 2007 and 2008 but I still think we will have a good season and make playoffs.

.500 if the breaks go their way. Would love to see another 2007 run but I don't think it's in the cards. Hope they prove me wrong. I expect PN-G, Central & LC-M to fill the top three spots and Lumberton, Vidor, Nederland, Ozen, Livingston to compete for the last spot with the edge going to Nederland in the battle for fourth place. Just my two cents. Go RAIDERS!!!

A being the key word in that sentence.

But. really the Raiders put together some nice teams over the past few years but can they stay up there. I don't think so, and not because of Dayton, the district they are in is just to much for them to rise back to the top anytime soon.

There is without a doubt a longstanding and consistant effort to critique Lumberton and their accomplishments. Being overlooked will play into Lumbertons favor.  8)      Go Raiders!  ;D

Curious as to why Lumberton is not going to be able to put together a team that can win football games??? Rather it be against Dayton, PnG or whoever. It is a extremely hard district to play in i agree but any TEAM can be beat on any given night...
