biaplayer Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 man im all jacked up on mountain dew, this sounds like a playoff atmosphere already, I said we would win and we would score over 30pts hopefully my tribe wont let me down, dont matter if we dont score 30 just as long as we win. WHo was it that said we came out tough on defense and timid on offense, i dont know what game you watched but bh had 8 turnovers and blocked 3 of our field goals, i contribute that as a very close game, with out the turnovers it might have been a different game, defense got an B- on my gradebook but defineatly a plus to have so many turnovers in one game, looked good if you were tracking dre dunbar though heck of a game. Sorry newindian not picking on ya just my interpretation of the game was a little different. ;)
NewIndian Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 BH QB was running for his life alot and Dre was on fire thats a good defense, i thought the offense was a little timid being the first game and all
ForeverADog Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 PNG in a very close one. Doty leads them for a late TD to win. I have been to one GP game a few years back and their fans traveled very well! Plus they are closer to san Antonio so which team will have the most fans at the Showcase??? :D
liltex Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 A big game for PNG to establish some props right out the gate.I picked GP only because whoever you are losing 43 seniors will not be so easy right out the gate.I do think like Dayton they get better as the dist.time comes around as trying to tweek and find replacements.
Jackthehammer Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 PN-G coaches were at the Ingleside/ Gregory Portland scrimmage. I believe it was Saturday. I heard it was a 1-1 on scores on the simiulated portion of the scrimmage.
pngfan66 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I think a better decision can be made after our scrimmage with PAM this Friday. It will show alot more than what we have all seen in practice. OF course I want the Tribe to win !!!! GO NDN'S !!!!!
Jackthehammer Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Whoa pump the breaks. Noone wins a scrimmage.

hookem14 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Anyone that thinks no one wins a scrimmage, never played in one.
Guest tappedout Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Hook'emDo u break a tie in a scrimmage? Maybe your the one that hasn't played. A pretty stupid comment!
Jackthehammer Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Fellas I was JK about noone winning the scrimmage. Its not winning its good and bad better or worse ans so on.
prepballfan Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Watched PNG practice this morning. Doty looked as sharp as a tack. Recievers who were suppose to be a weak spot definately will not. This team looks really good. Guys from other teams remember this name DJ Shexnider. He is a beast. Good luck to all this season. Heres to a season with no injuries to anyone.
purpleeagle Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 does anyone know if these kick off games will be telivised or not. will fox sw carry the games.

Thunderlicious Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Massey Ratings preditions-PNG 28GP 16a friend of mine told me earlier also that Massey has PNG's defense ranked at 69th in the nation 1a-5a schools. not sure how true that is..i couldnt figure out how to use the ratings system so i'll neither confirm or deny that...just saying thats what i was told..could be wrong though??

The defense shut down the run, and had two int's and they would have had 3 or 4 coverage sacks, The offense looked confused at times and didn't move the ball well, you can tell the young rb's are gonna need time to develope.
Jackthehammer Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 I have verified that PN-G through the rating system that is Massey's is ranked 69 in the State of TEXAS not the nation on defense.
liltex Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Should be a great game both are well coached but the Gregory Portland coaching staff's have great success over many yrs.

Thunderlicious Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Jack, I thought you couldnt read??69th in the STATE doesnt do this defense justice. Of couse its from last years stats though. Im betting by mid season we see them somewhere in the mid twenties.
Jackthehammer Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Tlicious Ii just finished hooked on phonics now Im onto rosetta stone
biaplayer Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 how anyone could say that we were ranked anywheres in the nation defensively is beyond me lol. You people put too much stock into rankings especially from DC. I like not being ranked at all myself, but as far as rankings go i think dayton will be ranked right up there with the best of them. I am ready to get the show started
NDN79 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 The only ranking that really matters is the one at the end of the season--and it has your school in the 1st position!! Wouldn't that be a great Christmas present? ;D
