the_dude_abides Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 How about this wrinkle. What if you took the best players in 20-4A and 19-4A, Had them practice under the best coaches from their respective districts and then played a game. Who would win? Who would coach? Who would be on the team?

liltex Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Coach Neuman is up there among the top 5 in setx in win % and a great coach.Faircloth had a great season but as a HC he's not been long enough + he took over a pretty good team w/43 seniors.Just sayin give coach Stewart 30 seniors and see what happens.

BrenhamFan Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Faircloth took over a team with talent and made them good. I wouldn't call them good before that... Wernt they like 3-7 in 08', before he got there?
liltex Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Correcto but they were in alot of games till the buzzer ;)
jordibug15 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Ok I know Lumberton beat Dayton when they were in 20-4Abut did anyone else beat them?I cant remember at all.
Guest Pirate_pride_07 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 yes the only loses that dayton had the year they were in 20-4A was to west orange and friendswood in preseaon and lumberton in district play. And also to lake travis in the playoffs.

[/quote]WOW.. Wonder why those kind of comments being made over and over don't get someone kicked off here as well. Oh maybe because they are being made against Dayton.. Which seems to be ok to some. But I guess when thats all you got on Dayton cause you don't have squat on their performance on the field.. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) Oh and to stay on topic... I can't wait for the football season to start... And Dayton is the last team standing in the playoffs... between 19-4A and 20-4A
BMTSoulja1 Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 My Jags will once again be in it for the long run. Hopefully, we'll keep up with Dayton as far as long playoff runs...
biaplayer Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 I think my ndns are gonna be heading for a match up with the broncos maybe the first round or the second who knows all i know is youll have had our number the last few years and i am tired of beating up on crosby and barbers hill, i would love to see a all purple and white shootout ;)
biaplayer Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 hey brenhamfan just to let you know the team bf took over was 3-6 i believe, and we had no talent, according to everyone else anyway. We were in a lot of games but somehow we let them slip by. i contribute it to some horrible coaching Hence the hiring of Brandon Fairclothe, He came in here and found a basketball player and turned him into a qb, took a fullback and made him a standout tailback, and a run run offense and made it a descent spread slash take what you can get offense that makes the other team adjust and try to figure out what is going on here. The year lumberton won district and made a good playoff run we had them on the ropes and ended up losing in overtime. They had a good nucleus just needed an improvement at the head coach position, lol Ask soulja what i thought about the mb era over the last five years lol
liltex Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Coach Stewart's been doing the exact same thing for 14 years always with less than 22 seniors ea.year.

BMTSoulja1 Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Central was in strong 5a districts from '86 until '01. And WB is still in 5a. Way stronger competition than those other 4a teams...
