catman. i just talked to a friend that went to woodville summer league. and he said big sandy looked like a decent team in some games. the only thing they lack is a post which is gonna kill them.  but he said that big sandy had 2 seniors starting and 2 sophomores and 1 freshman. and 1 senior, 1 junior, 2 sophomore, 1 freshman as reserves. he said the standouts in the games he watched was a sophomore indian boy, and one of the seniors that played the 4 and 5 some. he also said that bs was probably the best shooting team in the league. he said that the other senior boy is deadly from three point land.
[/quote] Most of the indian boys did not play @ the woodville s.l. They play @ the indian res. summer league. They are still playing there.They were deadly from the 3 last year.But well see little playing time.

he said he talked to the coach of the team in summer league. the coach said it was the whole team most of the time. a few games players were missing. but this is the team for next years varsity.

[/quote]They might be a great group of 10 and 9 graders but I dont think they can handle Evadales sizes and experience they will have a lot of Sr this year. But Evadale also will have a new coach so that is why they play the games.
[/quote] When Coach Foster Came 2 BIG SANDY. Evadale Won State The Year Before HE Was Head Coach. They Were 5 Freshman Starting For BS His 1st. Year.When BS Went To Evadale BS Lost Bad. When Evadale Came To BS Evadale Got Hammer. BS Dist. Champ. So We Will See What The 9 and 10 Grade Boys Will Do.They Have Nothing To Lose,They Will Be All Back In 2012 2013  
[/quote] Saying no one gets hurt in football this year, Evadale will have the best team in Basketball this year since the 2001 state champs.  They should win this Dist. and make some noise in the playoffs. But they have not play BS there in a few years and BS allways playes good at home.

You can't tell much of anything from summer league games.I was impressed with Evadale at Kountze this summer and they will be very well coached again this year.Big Sandy is just about impossible to beat at home so this could easily come down to a co championship and a seeding game.Should be fun to watch.

What kind of size does Big Sandy have this year? I have not seen them play in three years, then they had the good big kid  . But in years past they could shoot the 3 .

if Evadale handles the ball better this year i don't see them getting beat in district
and i believe it will be a good run this year lets get finished with our football run and we will see.
