Post Oak's 13s are very good too....we played them when we were 11 and they were stacked. They got beat last year by first colony who ended up playing BC very tight in the state tourney last year.

That article linked about Jasper said they have one kid that throws 80 and two that throw mid 70's? Wow that is one heck of a staff...Is that right? They should be smoking everyone with guys like that...I think BC last year had 3 guys in the upper 60's to low 70's

I was told that the 80 guy was clocked at 74(highest) at sectional.  Still hard, but not 80.  The other guy is a better pitcher, but probably throws 69-70.   Still, impressive for such a small league.

I dont think so...in the game on espn he was upper 60's...and a buddy of mine that was one of the coaches of first colony american that they played in tyler clocked them all...he said roddy threw the hardest topping out at 74

Beaumont has a solid team.  Any of them can get a big hit at any time, however, it sounds like
West University has some real hosses.
