Forgot IFA was on VTD.  Link:  http://www.fastpitchsoftball.net/TournamentDirector.ASP?WCI=StartFrames&Selection=8

Looks like 65 teams signed up with 32 approved.

Rain is always a given for IFA Nationals ! LOL..... Hopefully it will hold off for that week.
[/quote]You better hope it holds off cause I might take the EARLY RETIREMENT PKG on the table if it rains. ;D

Looks like 52 18U teams and 24 16U teams as of yesterday's deadline.  A few local teams missed the deadline or the VTD site hasn't been updated.

Long hot day for Intensity ! Wins against Batbusters and Germantown and then bowed out to Challengers ! Ended up tied for 9th, I believe Scrap metal did the same and the crush teams did well also, Crush Gold is somewhere close to that along with Crush Brown.

Crush Brown owes me Dinner ! I hear my lil beast had 2 Hrs this weekend !  ;D

One thing for sure the Intensity team is one tough team.  It's a nail biter every time they have played the Challengers.  I think 4 times in a month.

Dont remind me ! lol

Blazers won the 18u ( I think 3-2 in like 15 innings)

Congrats to all local teams in the tournament.  Orange Crush Brown had a great showing first getting a loss against RR Gold then losing the next game to Oklahoma Sensations.  The girls fought hard to finish tied in the 17th position.  Crush Brown played solid ball against RR Gold, leading the game 6-4 in the 7th inning with 2 outs before giving up the lead and ultimately losing 7-6.  Thanks goes out to Tommy Voss for running a great tournament that had shaky start due to the rain.

Not sure about the past but I was impressed with the colleges that turned out this year.  The ones I saw were:

ULL
McNeese State
UT Tyler
Blinn
Galveston
Odessa College
Milshaps
Lousiana College
LSU Euince

Probably more, that is just the ones that I could remember.
