Tim Riggins
I like the hypothetical 4A districts. that would be sweet, hope you're right.
AggiesAreWe
Having Jasper, Silsbee, Livingston and Cleveland in the same district would bring back some old 4A memories from way back. These schools used to be in the same 4A district many years ago.

Of the 19 teams list here, only 3 would not go to the playoffs if the UIL were to use these same numbers and still insist on sending 4 teams from each district to the playoffs. In fact, if the UIL were to follow his numbers here, which I believe he said has 163 teams in 3A, then over 78% of the teams playing in 3A would qualify for the playoffs if the UIL sends 4 teams(128 of 163 teams)! There is a better way to weed bad teams out than by having them get their brains beat in during the first round...it is called not sending them in the first place. Javelina
are they sending 3 teams to the playoffs in 1A? If they do you could possibaly have a 1-9 team in the playoffs out of District 14-A (D-II).
Matthew328
I tend to try and find the positive in things because the UIL isn't changing...its all about money...more playoff games =more revenue....so look at the bright side of things...
