I like Harold Mann.  Good guy.  Just won't be the same with out old Dave Hofferth.  Anyway, having games to broadcast outway's my preference of the play by play announcer.

So I take it that KLVI got the contract to broadcast the football games? Not surprised. ::)

I know I was told way back that Lamar was going to "explore" their options on who would radio broadcast their football games. Heard it would go to the highest bidder.

Most folks assumed that KLVI would do it and they were right.


Good move to keep KLVI as the flagship station for Lamar sports.

Could not agree more with your thoughts. Harold Mann is very good at his job but Dave Hofferth is in a league of his own.

I guess KLVI did in fact get the contract for broadcasting the football games.

Does anyone know if the games will be played on KLVI's website?  This will be really important to me for the first half of football season.

They currently stream all other Lamar broadcasts that they do over the internet.  I don't see why they wouldn't stream football as well.
