BH89 Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 I am getting more and more confident that Dayton and BH won't meet at all in the post season. I think this is great since most of us are rooting for each other to be sucessful after district. Here is the way I see it, maybe I am wrong. What do you think? 1st scenerio: If Nederland and PNG miss the playoffs then Dayton would be the Division-1 school and NOT play BH. 2nd scenerio: If BH wins district, then they would play the 3rd place team and that is most likely not going to be Dayton. 3rd scenerio: If Dayton wins district and BH places 1st or 2nd, Dayton would play the 3rd place team. Likely not BH. 4th scenerio: BH places 2nd in district and Nederland or PNG gets the third spot and Dayton get's the 2nd spot, then Dayton and BH meet. So for Dayton and BH to meet in the first round, Nederland or PNG (big schools) would have to make the playoffs and Dayton would have to lose to Central (doubt that).
Pimp Smack Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 No they wont. Dayton will have a by week after winning district.
BHFAN Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 No they wont. Dayton will have a by week after winning district. ????? Are you refering to an easy first round draw? Because there are no bye weeks!
bheaglefan Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 I really wish we could play Dayton without someone having to lose in district to do it. I don't mean that in a trash-talking way. I just think that would be a great game to see. We are so close together and there is still a rivalry feeling between the two even though its been years since we've played each other. It would be a very exciting first round game.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Well we've played both BH & Dayton, would be a good game for half. After that to much DAYTON!!!!!No disrespect to BH. But DAYTON is the BETTER TEAM!!

Would rather it not be in the first round of the playoffs.

Guest Indian Chief Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Ok before you say anything, YES we are having a bad year. But the district you guys are in is the weakest in the State.
BHFAN Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Ok before you say anything' date=' YES we are having a bad year. But the district you guys are in is the weakest in the State.[/quote'] Whatever makes you sleep better Chief
Guest Indian Chief Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Please don't tell me you think that's a tough District??
Bearz Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Those rankings need to be updated. Both LC-M and Nederland Beat PN-G.
BHFAN Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Please don't tell me you think that's a tough District?? No I don't thnik it is tough district I also don't think it is the weakest in the state either. 22 4A is no giant either it is competitive in most years ,but on a state level it falls into the "weak" catagory. Also the district being weak doesn't mean that a team in the district can't be strong, BH IMHO can compete with 22 4A. I didn't say kill 22 4A I just said compete 8)
gringo Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 Ok before you say anything' date=' YES we are having a bad year. But the district you guys are in is the weakest in the State.[/quote'] Boy, talk about a bad sport and poor looser. Hum, didn't Dayton come from that district :?

Guest Indian Chief Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Thanks. The District is down this year though. it happens every once ina while. Ozen normally is at the top with us and Nederland along with Central.
