LR94 Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Practice starts next week, how does everyone feel about what they drafted?
LR94 Posted July 27, 2010 Author Report Posted July 27, 2010 Yeah ur right ice I can't wait untill they put the pads on. And I agree with you about the parents holding kids back so they can be stars, those kids will have a hard time in 2 weeks. lol
Guest kf89 Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 what towns are holding kids down?7&8s play pee wee, 9&10s play junior, & 11&12s play senior. are u saying there 9 & 10s playing pee wee & 11&12s playing jr.?
BAM2000 Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Who is holding kids down? Your age determines where you play. You can move kids up if your division doesn't have enough players. My son played up last year. He still has 2 years in PW.
BAM2000 Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 I know what you mean. ;) Some leagues can't let their kids move up do due the JR level is on waiting list, etc.... I may move my son up (in his 3rd yr) and I may not...just depends on how many kids are signed up for JR. This yr same issue. Some kids are playing PW for 3rd yr due to the date change and they could not move up because JR is full.
Guest kf89 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 if a kid runs like bo jackson & hits like ray lewis,i think the kid would be good with 2 or 3 yrs. in a division.experience helps, but u still got to be able to make plays.theres a big diff. between moving up from flag to pee wee & pee wee to jr. if a kid is shining vs. his age group let him shine, if the parents talk shit it will catch up to them.
Bobcat101 Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Well, I have one of those kids that is playing his third year in PeeWee. I can tell you that I thought about whether or not to move I'm up. But, even though it would be better and easier for me to bring him up with his brother, however the reason we kept him down was that he should play with his class mates and friends. Plus, even though he might be physically ready to play against a 10 yr old, he's not mentally. The difference of two years is huge at this age group.
TradinUp BH Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 PNG Jr. White looks good, it ought to be an interesting season. Very talented returners and alot of young talent.
Bobcat101 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Fixing to find out. OF Jr will scrimmage BC on Friday. Should be a good one. I know both sides are fired up.
BaseBow Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Nederland black had practice game with lumberton white(I think)..Both need some work but over all Neds front line are pretty strong both sides of the ball. Neds LBs did ok secondary did ok...Lumberton better keep #30 in the game are it could be a long season...

lipjerker Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 not hearing much out there on this one. Why is everyone so secretive?
TradinUp BH Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 We (PNG White) scrimmaged PNG Grey, and both looked good. Both still need some work, but I think PNG Grey is going to give teams fits.

Guest kf89 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 ned. jr. white is average, probably finish around .500.we've gotten our tails kicked in 4 scrimmages.gave up several long td runs & passes.cant move the ball at all running or passing.we got alot of work to do!`
lipjerker Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 that sounds like a downplay I have seen Ned jr. White and they looked pretty solid. they need a little work but they are a solid team

TradinUp BH Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 PNG White scored 6 or 7 TD's to BC 0. BC had maybe 20 total yards. Can't wait for the season start. Don't know how to compare teams until season starts. Should be a wild year, and who knows who the team will be this year. Alot of goods ones at Junior level.
