baseballsportsfan Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 You have a player quit a team turn in their stuff because they dont think they should have been pulled from a game. Coaches give the stuff back and from then on the player doesnt come off the field. Whats your thoughts on if there should be punishment for quitting? My thoughts are sounds like that player dictates when and where he is gonna play. I honestly think there should be some kind of punishment. You have 8 players setting on the bench and havent quit let one of them play. Baseball is a team sport!!!!!!
bulldogs08 Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 I think all coaches should watch Remember the Titans and learn what the punishment for quiting a team should be.
silly365 Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 sounds to me like we have a parent whos kid isnt getting playing time to me . listen before you go posting info on here like this get your facts straight. i know the kid and his family he talked about what was bothering him and it was settled.he left the ballpark a happy camper and proved what kind of person and player he is today on the field and off. it was something thats been brewing and it came out and was settled . hope you have a better day tomorrow read a book or even a newspaper it will relax your mind.
Big Stick Posted July 27, 2010 Report Posted July 27, 2010 I am hearing alot of the players who are getting to play are not too happy about it either.Yes my son is on the team and getting playing time.He has not commented on the situation but, says alot of the players have. There is alot of talent on the team .I know one kid went 3 for 4 with 5 RBIs and did not play the next game.It is a very long trip to Eagle Pass .If you went with the team you should all play as a team.Yes the kid did say he was not playing anymore ,maybe he should have had to sit out a game. Most of these kids will be going to college soon. They better realize that their actions come with cosequences and may not always workout for the best. Think things through.
