With the way i see our offense improving everyday, and how good our defense is. I doubt that we will score under 21 and i seriously doubt they will score over 10. Our QB Garrett gets better every time you see him and our offensive line is improving everyday! They will not be able to throw the ball on us! And they wont score more than one touchdown on the ground, due to coach t and his adjustments! So i predict WOS 27 NED 10

skipper IS GOING TO EAT MY WORDS.i put my foot in my mouth a couple weeks ago by saying wo-s has no running game and the OL needed work bad.i did not make the dayton scrimmage but was told the kids relly did not look all that bad .21 points put up by dayton were put up on big plays,you that were there can tell me diffrent if this is not true.dayton has a great program there and are one of the best teams around these parts and great coaching.ok back to wo-s running game lol,was sitting with a long time vidor fan and long time friend and belive me he knows all the ends and out of high school football.vidor is not as big as thay have been in the past but dont back down from no one he said about this years vidor team and he likes that.we were watching very close the little running back there from west orange stark and glenn nicknamed him  walter payton jr becouse of his moves and very  hard to bring down and glenn said if wo-s can give the QB time to put the ball  up to his skilled WRs its going to be a long night for alot of teams.if some of the true blue nederland fans can remember last years game the wo-s QB is not all that bad of a runner himself    PS sorry for the spelling

Skipper:  At Dayton, we had NO running game and NO passing game!  LOL.  Dayton IS very good.  Maybe we had the jitters that night, maybe Dayton just completely threw us out of whack, or whatever, but the good scrimmage against Vidor will give us the boost we need to pull it all together and give Ned a good game.

Dayton dominated the LOS against us... we looked bad. Garrett had no time to throw and we could not run the ball. The defense played well until late in the first half when they ran out of juice because our offense went 3 and out so much. Then when we did get down inside the 10 a couple times they fumbled. Anyway, you can't expect the defense to be in shape after a week and the offensive line, although large, is where our inexperience lies on offense. Only one of them started every game last year and the center spot started when jordan was injured. The rest were on JV so no surprise that they got beat up on by Daytons big experienced front. Probably good to see such a talented bunch out of the gate, beause they may not see a better front again this year. They looked much better against Vidor and I think we will see improvement every week from them.

Nederland was driving in wos territory late in the game.  I believe it was inside the 30 down by 4.  Nederland may not have scored but had t
he opportunity taken away by an awful call.

On the 10 or 12 and driving.....I loved our chances. Yes we lost, Gas, how is that selective? I had bad seats and it happened to be in range of my yard line. Had it been a lateral, I'd be the first to say they made the right call. Besides, I'm not the one who brought this up.

Hopefully we can get you in some punting situations.  :D

Yes, it was actually at the 22 and it would have brought up a 3rd and 10 against the best defense in 4A that year. Not saying Ned wouldn't have scored, but if I were a betting man... ;)

...and there is no doubt it was a horrible call. I personally don't think it canged the outcome, but I guess we will never really know.
