Roughrider Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Why is the WOS scrimmage at the middle school tonight?
cooligan Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 I heard the band is using the main field tonight. ;D

Unlike other stadiums in the area, Hooks Stadium still has natural turf.
fwstangs Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010
thanks. maybe were sitting in the truck in the A/C :D
Nope, sitting in the stands listening to all the anti FW comments from Skipper and others. Boys are in shape, that is how we get ready to beat those tough teams from SETEXAS, Nederland, Dayton and Central!

Gasilla Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Well, any new predictions after we have both scrimmaged Dayton? Both lost by the same point spread. Dayton starters played longer against Ned, but Dayton didn't play as well with the fumbles and dropped passes. They also had some receivers not play. WOS looked very bad against Dayton. Dropped passes, fumbles in redzone...Come on guys, this WOS vs Nederland! Where is all the smack?
skipper Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 this will be a super game to watch.nederland has some size and fair speed ,thay stayed with dayton lastnight looked good in spots.nederland gave up the big plays to dayton and that hurt. ok now IF wo-s WR who are very fast can hold on to the ball friday night it will be a long night for nederland.the mustangs are starting to mix it up run and pass as we saw in the vidor scrimmage and looked good doing it and that made foreman, happy.the QB for wo-s is the real deal he will take off on you if he sees a hole open and he also has speed for a big kid. this is the part i like THOMPSON HAS all 11 kids on the football and thats good to see .like dan hooks has always said its HARD TO WIN IN NEDERLAND,i am hopeing for good weather no rain lol.mustangs might win by a 6 points
adminbaberuth Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Skipper and Aggies both predict 6 point wins, what gives?
AggiesAreWe Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010
Skipper and Aggies both predict 6 point wins, what gives?
Sorry, I had a moment of weakness. I forgot that WOS has no kicker, or that's what the folks say. ;)I changed my post to reflect. ;D
skipper Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 the mustangs are going up agnest one of the better coaching staffs and playing at home. PS its hard to win in nederland
skipper Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 NO KICKER,heck aggie and myself can kick the ball over 30 yards on the kickoffs lol.from what i saw WO-S HAS (NO) KICKING GAME. PS unless hooks has him hide out someplace
Guest rykerx144 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I have heard Hooks accused of alot of things before but hiding a kicker would be a first!
OrangeFBfan Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 WO-S by 12 (due to the NO kicker situation). :)
