WO-S by a lateral  :)
It was an incomplete pass.  ;D
LOL...still can't get over it, huh?  It's been 10 years, can you believe it? ;D
Oh, I'm over it. Still just don't like to see it miscalled. That win would have made it four years in a row.  ;)
Oh baddog... selective memory. Even if the bad call wasn't made you still lose the game...
On the 10 or 12 and driving.....I loved our chances. Yes we lost, Gas, how is that selective? I had bad seats and it happened to be in range of my yard line. Had it been a lateral, I'd be the first to say they made the right call. Besides, I'm not the one who brought this up.

Hopefully we can get you in some punting situations.  :D
By selective, I mean you say it like if it wouldn't have been a TD for us it would have been one for you... LOL. You still had a lot of work left to do had that call never been made. ;D
Gas, I only know how Joe Ramoin played late in games. He was a bruiser, ask Vidor. He got us down there and we were driving. I have no hard feeelings about it anymore, but when someone brings it up, I will remind them. Good luck Friday.

skipper IS GOING TO EAT MY WORDS.i put my foot in my mouth a couple weeks ago by saying wo-s has no running game and the OL needed work bad.i did not make the dayton scrimmage but was told the kids relly did not look all that bad .21 points put up by dayton were put up on big plays, you that were there can tell me diffrent if this is not true.dayton has a great program there and are one of the best teams around these parts and great coaching.ok back to wo-s running game lol,was sitting with a long time vidor fan and long time friend and belive me he knows all the ends and out of high school football.vidor is not as big as thay have been in the past but dont back down from no one he said about this years vidor team and he likes that.we were watching very close the little running back there from west orange stark and glenn nicknamed him  walter payton jr becouse of his moves and very  hard to bring down and glenn said if wo-s can give the QB time to put the ball  up to his skilled WRs its going to be a long night for alot of teams.if some of the true blue nederland fans can remember last years game the wo-s QB is not all that bad of a runner himself    PS sorry for the spelling

Dayton dominated the LOS against us... we looked bad. Garrett had no time to throw and we could not run the ball. The defense played well until late in the first half when they ran out of juice because our offense went 3 and out so much. Then when we did get down inside the 10 a couple times they fumbled. Anyway, you can't expect the defense to be in shape after a week and the offensive line, although large, is where our inexperience lies on offense. Only one of them started every game last year and the center spot started when jordan was injured. The rest were on JV so no surprise that they got beat up on by Daytons big experienced front. Probably good to see such a talented bunch out of the gate, beause they may not see a better front again this year. They looked much better against Vidor and I think we will see improvement every week from them.

Wait a minute Gas. You say only one of the o-line started every game last year? According to some(actually, one) WOS has 19 returning starters. ;) ;D

We had Paul Thomas (he WAS the one who picked up the fumble and ran it back for a TD).  We also had Ledet, Hope, Thibodeaux.   (Wow, a LOT of great ones on that 2000 team who went on to play in college.)  I agree with Gas.  Even if they called it back, Ned doesn't get in the endzone.  A field goal wouldn't have won it.  However, we'll never know because the heads-up play by Paul Thomas didn't get called back.

Paul went to Middle Tennessee.  He is now a youth minister up there.  He is still revered in the program and kids strive to be like him!

from what i have seen ,the mustangs are haveing a tuff time holding on to the football and thats not good.inside the RED ZONE the stings shoot themself in the foot cant hold onto the ball NOT GOOD. TURNOVERS is going to be the key in this game. (IF) wo-s can hold on to the ball ,it might be a long night

I have heard Hooks accused of alot of things before but hiding a kicker would be a first!
THANK  YOU  VENOM!!!! I surely hope you are serious... To say our kicking game is grotesque would be an understatement.
Sounds kinda like us Friday night ..I agree about Daytons front d-line & the line backers ..The same thing happen with the Bulldog Def very tierd ...Offence was 3 and out & when we did get inside the 15yd line we could not make it happen. We got in the red zone 5 times and had 3 points go figure.
