No sir. But Damon Guillory and a whole host of talented Jr's with varsity experience are more than ready to take over where those guys left off. In GCCISD we only have 4 yrs of eligibility.

The last time GCM scored 14 pts.was w/D.Allen a 1,235 yd.rusher in 09.He runs 27 times for 116 and 0 tds vs.the Broncos and it was 48-14.It's ok to believe in your Pat's just don't bet the ranch Dayton can't win by more than 20,it'll be that margin by halftime.
It's not about how many points GCM scores. It's about Dayton NOT scoring more than 20.
I'm willing to bet the ranch, the blue cheese, and the thousand island!
This will be GCM weakest year yet. They have a promising future but, this year is gonna be tough. Dayton will score more than 20 and GCM will have trouble getting on the board at all.
1. 9 starters (that's 9 out of 11) on defense. That means your success the past two years (the first 2 years for GCM by the way) was against soph's and jr's.
2. Most of your points last year were scored on a VERY young Patriot secondary. Ploch and Xfer lit them up. Where are they this year?
3. The young GCM offense will have it's "sea legs" by the time they roll into Dayton.

I'll stick to my prediction! Less than 20.
I'll go out on a limb with you GCMPats........Dayton scores 17.  You have to understand, unless your from Dayton or a lacking 20-4A, you see the 2010 Dayton for what they are and that's average at best.  Now.....after we spank them in district we will still pull for them against 20-4A, just to keep those teams East in check.  Pats....Only one question:  How the heck is your only starter on Offense going to score when he is a Center?

GCM 0 Dayton 17

I am not from Dayton but if you think they will not just reload and be ready to take 19-4A, you are probably mistaken. They have talent at every skill position and and are so disciplined. May have some close calls but they always peak at playoff time.

1. Dayton
2. Crosby
3. GCM
4. BH or Lee

GCM will surprise some teams. So many underclassmen from last year on Varsity their undersquad never had chance. RB Guillory a gamebreaker. I heard 3 receivers over 6'3". New qb ran well in scrimmage with two long runs.

BH will do well under new system. Well coached and dis iplined. Good off-season program and some talent at skill positions. Big O-line and talented Soph at qb.

Crosby will be fine. Merka will see to that. May struggle early as well. But plenty of team speed.

Lee has 8' qb and good team speed. They may surprise some people going To 4A. Always a. Tough opponent.

OH My, you must have been dropped on your head.   ;D ;D ;D  BH will go 9 and 2 with their only losses coming to Santa Fe and the last game of the season in a very close one to Crosby.  BH will place 2nd behind Crosby.  Crosby will start off season 0-3. Dayton will finish 5 and 5 by starting out 0-3, then losing 2 more to BH and Crosby.

It has been spoken!   ;D

Lee's qb is tall, but tall alone does not make one a good qb.
It's a nice attribute to have though.

The backup is a better runner, and is gaining at a furious rate in the passing department.
By September 1, 2010, the backup will probably be better in both facets.

Zellars, the backup, is so far ahead in being able to make it happen with his feet, I don't think you can keep him out of the starting lineup at qb.

The offense would be much more dynamic.
With everything being equal, in a vacuum as they say, Ruben is probably a better passer than Zellars.  Zellars will create so many more open opportunities though with his scrambling and ability to run.

Congratulations on your moral victory against Dayton last year.  Yall kept it close while Dayton's best player was out with a concussion.  Your team still lost.  I know yall don't have much to hang your hat on there, so you've got to resort to bragging about ALMOST winning a game.  Yall haven't made it past the third round since 1976, as a 1A school.  Dayton's done it the past 3 years.  If anybody needs to back up the talk it's you boys.  Also I wouldn't call making it to the quarters "limping through the playoffs."

i think bh will have a hard time making the playoffs and may not.  dayton will, but they cannot be as good as in the past three years.  injuries will make a difference as always, but if all healthy, dayton goes out in second round and bh never gets there to find out.

i think bh will have a hard time making the playoffs and may not.  dayton will, but they cannot be as good as in the past three years.  injuries will make a difference as always, but if all healthy, dayton goes out in second round and bh never gets there to find out.
If Dayton isn't healthy they still make it past the second round ! We have a elite coaching staff and with this group of talented  sophomores  they will plug right in and be a formidable football machine. The kids waiting in the wings are going to be something special ! Bad news for the rest of 19a.

Dayton is in for a rude awaking this year :'( I would suggest yall expect the worst then you won't be so disapointed when your sitting home after round 1. Plus all of the Crow you will be eating while the mighty Broncos begin to gear up for the rest of the sports they can't play. ;D

Football reigns supreme in Texas, we aren't overly concerned with anything else right now. As far as crow eating goes, I will take my chances especially when the team that we have to beat to prevent it is BH.

    • Uh oh MAGAS, any issues with this? Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief. Reportedly he will take a softer approach to tariffs, which are inflationary and pass throughs to consumers, as all 1.5 of us on SETX know
