The Evadale Lady Rebels fared well in their first scrimmage of the season as they split with Kirbyville 1-1
and lost to Buna 2-0

Freshman and JV teams also played well.

The teams will be right back at it tomorrow morning beginning at 10:00am when the Lady Rebels will host Burkeville and Legacy Christian at the Rebel Gym.

First regular season game will be Tuesday in Newton at 4:30
Head coach Debbie Hollyfield will begin her 7th season in Evadale and her 11th year overall

what do you think of the j.v. and how did they fair in the scrimmage i'm still working and could not go to the game?

The JV look very good. They play well together and even though numbers are small they should be very good this year. They won the majority of their games...dont know exactly what their record was...can tell you they did win both matches Saturday.....

The Varsity won 3 lost 0 and tied 1

Here is summary for Varsity Scrimmages:

Each game was 15 min. time limit.

The Ladies could have folded at match point for Newton in game 4 but showed tons of grit and pulled it out!!!
Hollyfield stayed cool on the sideline and keep her gals cool to pull it out.
