Houston Chronicle article on 19-4A
3. How will a move to Class 4A affect Baytown Lee?
The Ganders have struggled in recent seasons but were still able to snag a playoff berth in District 21-5A last year. Moving into 19-4A will put them with teams more comparable in size, which should help.
That's what you call in-depth, hard-hitting analysis right there folks.

Yeah... Thats the most sensible read I have seen yet. Can't wait to read BHFAN's comment. :D And the finish in district play. Dayton will take back the top spot.

And after further research.... 4A has one less A than 5A. For those Ganders who are partial to even numbers of A's, the move is a huge sigh of relief.

That article made Crosby sound really good
Crosby is good... They just aren't gonna win district this year.. Daytons gonna take that title back. And BH will be in a distant 4th or 5th.

Don't believe what you read folks ;D These ranking are very safe bets, but it it ain't going to happen! Check the Rankings last year and explain why Dayton didn't win the Championship hmmmmm Maybe it was because Crosby didn't see the rankings last year. Here is an idea ;D Lets rent a bill board in Crosby and post the rankings for this year then Dayton will have to win then!!!!!!  ;D

If you won the championship every year it would be fun but boring.I'm all in for a district that any team can win any night and every game you have to bring it to win.Dayton has done as well as they have lately by running all over most teams giving the underclassmen quality playing time and resting starters.Name the teams that have done as well lately w/less than 22 seniors on a team?Yeah that's right 28,30,33,up to 43 seniors on others.Let Dayton ever have that many and watch the scoreboard go into "TILT".We know we got alot to prove on a plate w/14 seniors this year, but we also know we can play w/most whoever they are.If we run the table w/this group air up them basketballs in the spring next year 8) ;) :D :D

In the end....
Crosby was buying playoff tickets to watch the Bronocs play (something Barbers Hill football fans are very accustomed to).

There's just not much of substance there.
I could take Dave Campbell's magazine, the Internet and give me about 2 hours and I could write all 25 of those articles that the Houston Chronicle does for each of the different 4a and 5a districts.  It couldn't take more than 5 minutes for each article.

Why would anyone want to pay for that?  Put some effort into it.

Surprizing it was ever done. The Surprize & the Barnicle both rarely cover this dist. The Surprize even dissed Dayton when they were smokin 22-4a in 07-08.I'll be hollerin the year when every team in the dist.is winning alot. You remember the thread Cody Green or Jacob Karum and Karum was the barnicle td club most val.player?Where is he now?Oh yeah Cody's competing and playing QB @ Nebraska as a fresh/soph.@6'4" 225.

Crosby, definitely would've won state in DII.

1.  Keep buying cracker jacks you'll get the ring.  ;D ;D ;D

2.  Crosby, definitely would've won state in DII.  So true Dayton, so true.  I love the way one win yields so much confidence.  I bet that Dayton tries to cancel the game with crosby because they are terrified to take the field.  In fact, Dayton is lucky to even be on the same field with a team with so much raw talent.

3.  Can somebody remind me what the record is when Dayton has played Crosby for the past ten years? Oh that's right, Dayton OWNS the cougars.

    • Uh oh MAGAS, any issues with this? Scott Bessent Seems to be textbook deep state with the soros affiliation.    Bond markets, and my investment accounts,  are liking the pick so far with rates down as investors breathe a sigh of relief. Reportedly he will take a softer approach to tariffs, which are inflationary and pass throughs to consumers, as all 1.5 of us on SETX know
