KFDM COOP Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 LU's Zeigler leads at Chris Banister Classic CALHOUN COUNTY, Ala. - Lamar junior women's golfer Hillary Zeigler holds the 36-hole lead after Monday's play at the Jacksonville State University Chris Banister Classic. Advertisement As a team, the Lady Cardinals are in third after a 317-321-638. South Alabama leads at 610. Jacksonville State is second at 637. A native of Livingston, Zeigler shot 73-72-145. Elin Andersson of South Alabama is second with a 36-hole score of 75-73-148. Lamar sophomore Therese Nilsson was tied for the first-round lead with Zeigler, but shot a 77 in the afternoon for a 150 total that is tied for third. Bonnie Howard, a junior from Carrollton, posted rounds of 82-85-167 and is tied for 22nd. Channing Norton, a sophomore from Cleveland, is tied for 36th place following rounds of 89-87-176.
