hookem14 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 To think no one wins or loses a scrimmage is wrong. The score does not mean anything, but the players and the coaches involved with the game ABSOLUTELY know who won !!!Ask anyone that has ever played in a scrimmage.
Guest tappedout Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I've played and coached in a few scrimmage's and I disagree with you hook'em! It's a practice! For team's like PNG who do not do a lot of hitting in practice, it will be a time for the coach's to see who can hit and who can't. PNG will play a lot of player's in their upcoming scrimmage. On the other hand Memorial like's to leave their starter's in for a lot longer. Different coach's do different thing's in scrimmage's. Do you think Larry Neumann goes into a scrimmage thinking that his team has to win a scrimmage? No! Do the pro's care about winning a preseason game? No! Some team's will keep their first teamer's in longer against 2nd and 3rd teamer's.
