bigmike Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Do you think Anahuac can pull off a upset?
Guest Indian Chief Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It will be tough for Anahuac. This is another team that has surprised folks.
STB1990 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 EC, No longer has the BIG HEAD, so now the BUCS will win big, against the Panthers.
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY has a burning desire to beat EC. That is commonly known. EC will survive this game too. 7-0, 3-0.
whsalum Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 EC got their last test last friday. They won't be challenged again until the playoffs start.PS there are 2 anahuac players who haven't voted in the poll.
BH89 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 No chance at an upset. Anahuac has been on a steady decline for the past 3 years. There is a lot of construction moving out East of Houston and eventually it will spread South of I-10 towards Anahuac. Maybe they will get a few new folks that way and build a better program.
bucball_07 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Yes we have had a big head since district started. After the horrible football that the offense played against Warren, we realized that teams are not going to lay down and give us the game. Warren played dirty, but they played tough. From now until the end, there will be a new offense on the field. Anahuac has been tough in the past, but they are overpowered this year.
BucPride07 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Anahuac will come to play being that they are playing EC, and it is a big rival. But i'm going with East Chambers on this one.
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Warren played dirty' date=' but they played tough. [/quote'] I know I was just in the stands, and not on the field, but I honestly did not see what you are talking about.
whsalum Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I was there also and saw some good hard hits but nothing dirty.Iwished our back hadn't gotten hurt but I thought it was a well played game with the exception of turnovers.no late hits or unsportsmanship penalties that I can remember.
Pimp Smack Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Treamaine Thomas will tear apart Anahuac's defense.
Guest Jags Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 If Anahuac was the same team as last year and the year before they would beat EC. I saw them 2 years ago and they were a good 3A team.
Guest ECBucFan Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 EC has NO PROBLEM with 3A teams. 4-0 this year vs. previously unbeaten 3A's. EC also swept then 3A Anahuac (and 3A Buna) recently.
Guest Uncle Rico Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 EC win this with ease. EC by 35
BigTuna Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 We have played both and EC will roll Anahuac up 48-0.
coony Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 This will be another close town rival. Both teams will be playing hard because of this, but with it being in EC and the cool night, and fan support, EC will come out on top. Good luck to dem Bucs, we will follow u all the way. EC 41 ANA 24.
