Get your knives ready, ladies and gentleman!  The Annual SETXsports.com Preseason rankings will be announced by Mike and Joey on the first preview show of the season on Wednesday night!  As has been the practice for the last few years, the staff of SETXsports.com will publish it's weekly rankings throughout the season. You will notice a few things that are different!

First, the polls, which have been split into 5A/4A and 3A-Private, will be split into 5A-3A and 2A-Private which better divides the teams in the coverage area.  Second, the rankings will be expanded from a Top 10 to a Top 15 in each poll.

4. Central - Team speed is always good, but this isn't a track meet.

5. LCM - Good field general....but this isn't 7 on 7....

6. Lumberton - Good QB coming back...but needs a lil help

7. Nederland - hopefully everyone stays healthy..

8. Vidor - No three headed monster...means clue less monster.

9. Ozen - will make a move this year

10. Barbers Hill - ..... :'( :'( :'(

Rey you didn't include any 3A schools. WOS, Silsbee, Kville, and 4A Crosby will all be on that list. And Vidor and Lumberton that high?

PAM and PNG wil have a sort of alphabet bowl scrimmage friday that can help clear up #3 although they will not have a winner out of this game as it is only a scrimmage.

yes thats correct,  it will be (5a 4a 3a) top 15 and then (2a 1a and private) top 15!

Yes, the rankings will be done on a weekly basis after Week 0 until the end of the regular season.

OHHHH.....since there is 5 slots open for 3A....you know where they will go....11-15...seriously, which 3 a team can compete with our local 4A programs?.....lol....here it comes..........go ahead......I think everyone knows...
