WOSgrad Posted August 17, 2010 Author Report Posted August 17, 2010
Thats the Carol A "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center
Hey I don't call it the Richard E. Berry Educational Support Center, either.
Jackthehammer Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 LOL I was giving some friends of mine at WB a hard time.
Huggie Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Gary Kubiak just announced the Texan's Reliant Stadium was being changed to "The Reliant Educational Support Center". In addition to football, they will teach proper hotdog eating and beer drinking etiquette on Saturday mornings. Mon through Friday, they will offer English classes.
Jackthehammer Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I heard they wanted to name it the C.A. "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center but were then threatened by a certain school district for logo rights violations. Thus taking the name the Reliant Educational support Center. Yes I know the name is of lesser quality but its kinda catchy.
Huggie Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 All kidding aside, why can't a stadium be called a stadium or a field instead of an Educational Support Center? What is an educational support center? Sounds more like a library than a football field.

So even though there are currently only two facilities there, it isn't just a football stadium.

Huggie Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 Ok, how about CBT Sports Complex? Educational Center just doesn't fit unless there are plans to add some kind of training or classroom facility. You get my point and I know people are tired of talking about the name.
WeedBegone Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 It is an educational support center because those who will have to play the BRUINS and JAGUARS are bound to learn an important lesson.

sig220 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 It's an educational support center because if they called it an athletic support center it would be called "jock strap stadium".

How do students at West Brook, Central and Ozen get to those additional facilities of an educational nature? Special buses or are they own their own?

BMTSoulja1 Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I again don't understand where these silly jokes are comming from... Again, the Berry Center in Cypress is an Educational Support Center and it's the best facility in the Houston area. Just hate on like you've been doing from day one and our team will keep on beating your team at the new digs.On a side note, I think Reyes Sr. Took this pic with a camera phone. Had the picture have been taken with a digital camera, it could have been resized. Still a good shot though, man!
82 5A State Champs Posted August 17, 2010 Report Posted August 17, 2010 I just want to know....whats in the center of the field? If it says "BUTCH".....expect for at least one letter to be changed with spray paint! ;D
