wos pride Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 im looking for predictions on wo-s success in the playoffs this year anyones opinion is welcome
ilovethebears00 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 i think the mustangs are going all the way!!!!
skipper Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 i will tell you after fridays game with silsbee ok
Guest Kelly Football Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 The Silsbee game shouldn't have anything to do with it? WOS went to the final 4 (semi's) last year and will probably do the same again if not win it. The 2nd playoff game with Giddings will be a war though.

I don't know if any of you guys have seen Giddings play, but I have..they have some super athletes. I think WO-S takes them this year though.
WOS92 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 We saw them last year in the third round and won 42-13 (I think). They are very talented on the ground, but completely inept through the air. That will hurt them in the playoffs.
skipper Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 my friend if wo-s can get out of this game without no one getting hurt the mustangs will do just fine this game with silsbee scares me
Guest vidorpride Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Good Luck!!! Hopefully Vidor will help represent the OC in 4A:D
KFDM COOP Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 If they get past Giddings (Round 2) they go to at least round 5 (Semi Finals)
Guest GoStangs Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 they lose 3rd round in my opinion. Pimp, what team will beat them in Rd. 3?
wos pride Posted October 18, 2006 Author Report Posted October 18, 2006 these are some very interesting replys keep them comming people!
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Giddings. man, that name gave me chills in HS. Yeah if they get past them, they play Gilmer in state.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Gilmer will be D1..WOS D2dang it, i wanted to see that game......well in that case, um, I dont know who would knock them out. Its safe well at least to me they win state unless Giddings beats them or they beat themselves.
BH89 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 If they get past Giddings (Round 2) they go to at least round 5 (Semi Finals) I originally thought Giddings might be the team to beat in Div-2, however last week Giddings barely beat LaGrange. Just FYI, if you want the rel scoop on Giddings talk to EAGLETOWN as his nephew is the star QB.
WVU Fan Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 I think they go at least as far as last year. Giddigs is not the team to worry about, that would be Wimberly. That's who they will probably play in a semi-final game. WOS handled Giddings last yearm handily, as Giddiing s couldn't deal with the speed of WOS's offense. I think if WOS would get another shot at Wimberly and win, that would be a major mental hurdle to clear. I think then they would play Cureo in the D-2 title game.

Giddings has a QB that is VERY fast and there is not a WOS player that could catch him if he gets in the open field. Having said that, Giddings would have to be more balanced to have a chance against WOS.
Cat22 Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 If WOS gets past Giddings, which I think they will, I don't see anyone in Region III beating them. Giddings is too one dimensional. I see WOS probably playing Cuero in the semis or maybe Wimberly. WOS has just as good a chance at winning the whole thing as anyone else in the state. I would love to see them take on Gilmer, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I will say this, WOS goes farther than anyone else in Southeast Texas.
WVU Fan Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Its the sme QB as last year. He had 1 big run for TD last year and that was about it. They will be very familiar Fitzhenry.
Guest BIG HOUSE Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Semi's again, then done, again. Will be a good season though.Good luck to the PONYS!!!!!!!! They will represent SETX WELL.....
sticky Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 If they don't win the state championship in DII then heads should roll. That might be a little drastic. How about.........if they don't win the state championship then every first born child in the district should be........no, thats been done. OK, if they don't win the state championship every WOS poster should be banned from the SETXsports web site. Yeah, that will work.

Homer Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 Who cares?? The Stangs play Silsbee Friday and that is all that matters right now!!!
