Just wondering how WOS got so high? Lost district and honestly got run over by Coldsprings i know i watched the game.

Yet thie ranked higher than a team that went to the fourth round? and returns 7 defensive starters? and their star QB?

I am thinking Hardin should make the Top 7 with this win over Liberty. Not sure how the other teams fared, but Anahuac, and East Chambers lost the first game. I know Woodville won vs. Corrigan, interesting District for sure.

Lumberton should be on there next week.... I think 20-4a will be much tighter than most early predictions.  Vidor played well against a big school and Lumberton is not a push over

That's correct.  Review some of the first posts in this thread which set out the teams which sets out those teams which are included in the polls.  But if the interest from Brenham keeps up there is a possibility that they may enter the permanent SETXsports.com family.  In fact, tomorrow, I think I will again put up the schedules and results from at the very least Brenham and Montgomery as some measure of thanks for y'all coming to the board.

Frankly I don't blame Brenham for wanting to be included, this is the the best sports forum bar none in my opinion. Maybe it's time to start a HATXsports or HRTXsports, Houston Area or Houston Region board. I would suggest a region3sports but that would be way too big for navigational purposes unless it was done with subforums covering each area.

Thanks for the kind words, raideroldtimer.  But it is you guys that make the board great.

As to expanding to Houston.  We did attempt a Houston board a few years back and it did not really take off.  However, we do review our area of coverage on an annual basis and I have seen an increase of activity of folks west of the Trinity, even folks west of the San Jacinto and Brazos.  As the demand warrants, we will certain expand to cover that.

Dayton lost a close game to a quality 5A team... you guys put it on a mediocre (at the moment) 3A team. They can move L-town all they want... But, to move Dayton more than a spot or 2 would not make much sense to me
