To me, the 4A poll isn't accurate, Dayton should be in the top 10 somewhere.

It's simply amazing to me that one poll as West Brook at #9 in the state and another has them at #48!!!

I can see where polls would be different, even as much as 10-15 spots, but not 39 spots!!!

Not one of the other polls matters....THIS, is the poll that matters. Actually, kind of suprised to see the Bruins in at #9, but at the same time its kinda nice.

They should replace Tyler or Smithson Valley because they didn't even make the playoffs last year when everyone else in the Top Ten did.

I believe all four schools are probably looking at going into the playoffs in division 2.
Will be interesting to see how the brackets place these four teams and who will play each other first.
Being in the right part of the bracket is going to be huge.

I just realized something about the 5A rankings........the only 4, Region 3, schools in the Top 10 will most likely all be going D1....so, unless something changes there is a good chance those teams (WB, Katy, Cinco Ranch, and North Shore) will have to face each other in the playoffs.

I'm pretty sure Angleton will be D1 since they switched districts.  Lamar Consolidated is rebuilding, so I doubt they will make the playoffs.  If they don't, Angleton will go D1.  No doubt, D2 will be stout though.

The AP is the worst poll out there.  Most of the writers that make up the pollsters don't know a thing about these teams, especially the lower classifications.
