hookem 2010
Lumberton looked good when running the ball and controlled the line of scrimmage. GCM looked undisciplined and consistently overran plays and allowing Lumberton to sustain drives running the ball. Both teams had a lot of penalties but GCM killed themselves over and over. L-town's defense found out they just needed to put 7 or 8 in the box and GCM's line could not keep anyone out of the backfield. GCM looked to pull what I am assumming was their starting qb and rb in the 2nd half probably so they would not get injured. L-town's qb missed on a few wide open receivers but hopefully the timing will get better. I will say GCM 1st QB looked pretty good if his receivers could hold the catch the ball as well as hold on to the ball after the catch. They fumbled a few which killed drives for them. L-town's "D" may keep them in most games. We'll see.
