The kid reversed the field and had one man to beat from the Indians and got past him for the TD. I think Memorial's strength may be the passing game, IMO...
It's just gonna depend on what they wanna give us, singleton can go, and is poised and confident, and will rush for at least 800 yds and pass for 1500.
BMTSoulja1 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I also seen a bigger back that was running over some Indian defenders...

SFA85 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 The right side of PAM's OLine were huge. I'd try that OG on the DL with Sloan or have him go both ways.....

TITAN POWER Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I dont think PNG has anything to worry about.
The Goat Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010
I dont think PNG has anything to worry about.
I'm sure they will be. It's just the first scrimmage.
Guest tappedout Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 PNG kept everything real basic on offense and defense as they said they would. I thought Doty was off throwing the football tonight but everything was to the outside. Running game was averaging about 4-5 yard's a pop but passing game just struggled on 3rd down's. Memorial had a few blitz package's that slowed us down also. My main concern was the secondary going in and now my concern is the LB's and secondary. But then again we were not sending anyone blitzing and just playing a basic defense. Sometime's it's hard to gauge from a scrimmage of how thing's are really going to be. One thing is for certain though is if you don't play discipline football then you will find yourself on the bench as DJ found out for retaliating for a late hit by Memorial out of bound's. I believe both team's will have a good season.
TexazBall Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 The Memorial Offense vs the Central Defense should be a good match-up

pngfan66 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I was very impressed with Memorials team this year. I think the coaches their need to work on the boys not holding receivers so much, it could be one of those holding penalties that could cost them a game. PAM's offense is good. Very fast ! good passing game. Ya'll have some great size on your team this year as well. Ya'll are gonna be just fine in your District and the playoff's, hopefully no injuries. PNG was very vanilla basic. It was a good scrimmage to get our feet wet again and knock some more rust off. I'm sure PNG will be in stride come Saturday at the Dome. Good Luck PAM on your season ! I liked your new turf it looks very nice.
Layingemdown Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010
I made it to this scrimmage with like 5 minutes left in the second quarter... Memorial's defense did set the tone. What I saw, Memorial moved the ball at will. Long plays and everything. PN-G's run game didn't look that impressive, but when they threw long, there was success. BTW, Memorials field turf looked clean! PN-G better find a way to move the ball on the ground before district starts. And Memorial's secondary may be a little suspect. I have no complaints about their hard hitting run D. Yes, PN-G's secondary was playing off of the Memorial recievers, may have been worried about being beat deep.
Memorial is gonna smack ya'll so bad in week 0, then you may see that we did ok in the scrimmage..
