jake94 Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Sounds as though you guys have another great team. Good luck this season. I did not get to make it to the scrimmage tonight.. My question is after seeing Nederland and WO-S the last two weeks, what is your prediction?
AggiesAreWe Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Oh here we go! ;DLet the games begin!!!!!! ;D
Mike George Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 As PA announcer, I watched both games from the pressbox. If not for some "preventable" turnovers (in other words not caused by big hits but just mishandling of the football) It would have been 44 to 3. The problem with trying to figure out how WOS and NED will do against each other is made more difficult by the fact that this scrimmage featured mostly starters. Against WOS Dayton played many more players, including another QB for more than a quarter.Right now I would rate it a tossup. Nederland might have a home field advantage and win in a close one, but again, it's hard to say.
dayton Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 I can't offer much... I saw the second half last week and most of the 1st half this week.IMO, Ned was ahead of where WOS was last week on O and D in my opinion, which isn't worth much, considering how much I got to see. If Ned can get the ground game going, and that D is more than capable of keeping the big plays to a minimum, I think WOS/NED will be a 7 or so point game that could go either way. I like that Benjamin kid.Much more physical D from Ned tonight. I like it.
Matt Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Nederlands Defense is much improved over the past 5 or 6 years. They should be right in the thick of the playoff hunt at the end of the season. I didn't see last weeks scrimmage
