I believe H-D wins in a close one. 14-13 H-D wins !! H-D has some good athletes. Hopefully we get smart and start Morrow on D-line !! Kid is strong as an ox !! We have to play our best players both ways !!

Don't feel alone with that. All of 1A, most all of 2A, and a bit of 3A all have the best players going both ways. It's common.

Good luck HD and to the Lions next week, Bobcats will need to contain Howard to start with and the Bobcats line play, both sides of the ball will have to man up cause Kountze has some good players in the trenches.

[/quote] Kountze has won the last two meetings. Last year Kountze won with a last second field goal. But overall history between schools H-D dominates the series. Also this year they play at the Swamp in Daisetta !! H-D has a great home field advantage. And H-D has one of the nicest grass fields in the State.

Kountze has a real sod-buster in Howard!  He reminds me of Cook from HD a few years ago.  This guy can take over a game and carry a team on his back.  Having said that, HD hates to lose and if they find a way to stop Howard inside the tackles it'll be a close game.
For no reason my gut says HD in a close, real close game.  Good luck to both!

Yes the Howard kid is big and physical with speed. Howard and Gilmore will be the best athletes on the field. Wish I could see them hit head up, I start graveyards Wednesday night.
