Guest Crazy Dave Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Warren takes this one BIG!! I seen them in a scrimmage and was impressed with the energy they had going!
the wise one Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 ill take warren in a close one. These two teams always seem to slug it out when they play but right now I just think warren is a little ahead of wh with the coaching change and everything but I have seen both teams play and WH has more talented team if they can pull together and play with great intensity
Kville_Kats Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Hard one here..But I'm going with Warren on this one...Good luck to both teams..
Joharr73 Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 It's funny looking at these predictions. According to the Week Zero Pickem's, West Hardin is favored to win by 73% of the people that have picked. West Hardin = 68 votes At the time of this postWarren = 25 votes-----------------------Total = 93 votesCheck out the link:http://www.setxsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=71729.0Just a thought! ;D

small.town.kid Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 these 2 teams always play each other close no matter how good or how bad one another is so its goin 2 be close no matter what but i've seen WH their offence is better the last year but their deffence is a little weaker over all then last but their D-line has improved but its goin to be a close game2128who ever wants it more comes out on top
LR2014 Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 I have not seen West Hardin. I saw Warren in one scrimmage. They have a new coach and new system that they are still learning. I believe that once the boys buy in and learn the offense, it will be potent. They have a young talented QB and a few good recievers. The defense also needs some improving but showed some potential as well. Typical preseason stuff. I'll take Warren in this one by a touchdown.
Joharr73 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 Not making a score prediction, but going with the Oilers. They've lost a couple of close ones in the last few years, but I think this could be the year to get one back from the Warriors. Good luck to all the players in Southeast Texas this opening weekend!!!
oilerman21 Posted August 27, 2010 Author Report Posted August 27, 2010 It all comes down to tonight!!
oilerman21 Posted August 28, 2010 Author Report Posted August 28, 2010 even though it was the first game i think WH proved that they aren't gonna give up and that get got it in them to be one of the top teams in the district this year. ;D
the wise one Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 WH looked pretty good last night against warren but WH still has a long way to go if they want to make the playoffs in a much tougher district this year. They need to work on the fumbleing and the dumb penalties.
whsalum Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 To say either club looked good in this one is a stretch.I didn't keep any stats but there had to be at least 10/12 turnovers combined. The thing that concerns me the most about Warren is their lack of depth. They dress 21 players which isn't going to let you compete as a pretty large 2-A school.WH did have a running back who looked pretty solid.
