liltex
Dayton in a close game.Diggs had 420 tot.yds vs FW in that loss.Neither team wants a 0-2 start so it'll be great game.

bigdaddyblue
Dayton....Digg's weakness is passing and from what i hear that is Dayton's on defense..So Dayton's front 7 will control the game..Sure wish it was on Saturday night..... gary-us-bonds
You cannot be expected to control Diggs all game.He will break out once or twice for some long td's. Might as well just factor that into whatever gameplan you may have.Dayton will have trouble with the short screen passes, must go over the top some against Angleton.I think it will be Angleton 28-

7mary3
After attending the Brenham/Angleton playoff game last year I'm going to have to give the edge to Dayton. Like one poster stated it will be tough to completely stop Diggs but he can be contained. Dayton's defense will be able to contain him and unless Diggs had a complete transformation over the Summer the passing game will not be there. One other observation from that game last year was that Angleton just flat out got out-coached by Brenham. Brenham was the better team on the field but Angleton had their chances. IMO Angleton never made the adjustments, seems like they had all their marbles in the Diggs basket and as we all know one player can be a game changer but it takes the whole unit to win. Edge Dayton.Dayton by a TD
jayhawk
With a couple of weeks to re-invent super glue for our RB our offense has the pontential to come up to the same level as our awsome and I will say it again awsome defense. Be scared Be very scared ! Dayton 31-Angleton 14 ~~~

Well - we proved we have the athletes, they did not prove they have the coaching!

liltex
It's a 2 headed coin-Diggs and Delasbour and the same goes for Angleton they have to contain Jakkarri but he'll run you over 1 on 1 @ 6' 205.Were gonna wear Diggs down trying to cover our WR'S but he'll score some.In event of a close game the edge goes to the Broncos from 45 in you can get a loan on fg collateral ;D

liltex
The guy's being recruited by Texas not as a qb/rb but for his defensive play.
ricko
Unless Angleton has greatly altered their play in the post season, Dayton wins this one and it won't be close. Dayton is lacking Ploch this year, but they are a well coached team and a class act to boot. Angleton on the other hand is poorly coached. They were also lacking class when they played Brenham last year, taunting players/fans when they had the lead, once Brenham took over they started showing their ***, making a late hit on a QB that was on one knee in the victory formation. Once you contain Diggs, the game is over. I could not believe they may it as deep as they did against Brenham with absolutely no passing game. If they haven't learned to throw the rock, Dayton will make them pay. If Dayton covers the outside corners, they'll shut Diggs down.Dayton 42 Angleton

fatdaddy
I gotta think that Dayton wins this one. Diggs is a monster, but 1 monster cannot beat you by himself. He will break some runs, and score some, but he has no help. I will say this about Dayton, they make adjustment through the year and continually get better. I don't think Angleton has caught on to this concept. Dayton as a team will beat the incredible athlete that operates as a one man wrecking crew. Having played both teams every year for the last 4. I have more respect for the Dayton Bronco's than Angleton, who simply seem to have no concept of adjustments or different schemes.Dayton in a good game 28-21. Tyrone_Biggums
I saw Diggs twice last year, he reminded me of Doc at QB. The difference in the two was Diggs was bigger and Dakari had a better arm. IMHO Diggs will end up exactly where Doc did, starting in the secondary for the longhorns. gary-us-bonds
Diggs is twice the athlete that Pearson was.And I do like Dakarai Pearson, don't get me wrong. It's just a huge difference between the two of them.
