Nederland vs. GCM Predictions?

Nederland. Although GCM is one of only two 19-4a teams I ever pull for. The rest usually is not on my prefer to win list.

I think it will be a good game friday night. Hopefully the offense looks better this week. Ned wins 28-20

Nederland offense should look much better this week with another week under Raines (new sophmore qb) belt. He has some good weapons and they did score 3 TDs against WOS who has the most solid linebacking core I have seen in a long time. I think the Dogs defense is better than what they showed. The big plays killed them but alot of that credit goes to the Stangs Offense. They have a ton of speed and good execution on offense. GCM will not be as fast or athletic as the Stangs but the defense is going to have to make a statement this week. I agree with 19Bulldog99 that the offense has not been the problem in the last few years but I still stick with my earlier statement that the Dogs D, although youthfull is better than the previous years past.

Anyway, Im going with the Dogs in this one.

I think this will be a good game too. I am excited to see Raines progress as the season moves on. Goose Creek is getting back two running backs this week that did not play against LC-M last week so it will be interesting to see what impact those guys have as well. I think the Dogs will be solid on both sides of the ball this week and win the game at home. Should be a good ballgame in my opinion.

last year from day 1 from dionte taking over there were no fumbled snaps which were 80% of turnovers other 20% fumbles from running backs tons of first downs  touchdowns as well see stats!!the spread all starts with the qb. as for the defense being on the field wah! wah!! wah!!the first 2 possessions last friday were long touchdowns others were missed tackles simply have not had a decent defense in several years defense is preventing other teams from scoring in case you dont know the true meaning.read stats again!!nederland has never allowed the underclassmen to knock the sh^%* outta the upperclassmen for 10 years or more and it starts in practice !!have them all kicking the sh(* outta each other and it will carryover into games like it once did you cant be scared of injuries for they will happen anyways just part of the game read stats . goodluck to big ned but defense needs to make a stand . and the qb needs to step up as well they must outscore thier opponent like last year i disagree with this team being better than last years last years seniors for most part all played injured all season and still refused to not make the playoffs!!that team will be rememberd for years to come . 1 heck of a job by those kids!!

Does Nederland have the same kicker as last year? IMHO he was their biggest weapon. He consistently put the ball in the endzone(often resulting in touchbacks) on kickoffs and could hit FG from 40 + yards.

Dogs  35 GCM 13  The Dogs will  only get better with this young defense.  Ex,avier Bill is out on the front four and linebacker Korbin Stampley is out with a bruised neck. The defense will only get better with these guys at full strength.
