Guest Nederland Bandit Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Dayton, Central and Nederland look like the teams.
Guest Kelly Football Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Don't worry. When Ozen gets a new staff in their they'll be fine.
tvc184 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Don't worry. When Ozen gets a new staff in their they'll be fine. Now that is funny.
TradinUp BH Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Dayton,PNG,Central NDNs shock Dayton and Central the last two weeks to dance into the playoffs.
NDNWarrior Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I agree scalp 'em. PNG gonna cause some upsets......will be Dayton, Central, PNG in the playoffs!
WOS92 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I hate to say this, but the team in the third spot - regardless who it is - will not be a playoff-caliber team. It will most likely be Nederland in that familiar third spot yet again.
GoDogs27 Posted October 29, 2006 Author Report Posted October 29, 2006 We'll see... Nederland will go D1 so you never know what could happen in D1
piratefan Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I hate to say this' date=' but the team in the third spot - regardless who it is - will not be a playoff-caliber team. It will most likely be Nederland in that familiar third spot yet again.[/quote']
Guest Indian Chief Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I agree scalp 'em. PNG gonna cause some upsets......will be Dayton' date=' Central, PNG in the playoffs![/quote'] Sounds good to me. I think we have a shot.
tvc184 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 If PN-g can knock of Central and Dayton back-to-back, then they deserve to be in the playoffs. I don't see it happening but I will sure back them up in the playoffs if they can pull it off.
NDNWarrior Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Thanks tvc. PNG has been "down" and basically "out" by all the polls before. As I've always said, anything can happen on any given night in high school football. Stats don't mean squat when there is a head to head battle during a game. We've already seen upsets this year in 22-4A, and they can continue. I know everyone is picking Dayton over Nederland, Central over PNG and according to the stats, these are pretty good predictions. However, I NEVER count out a Mid County team, whether Nederland or PNG. I'm sure, if things don't turn out the way I hope Friday night, someone will copy and paste this quote and try to cram it down my throat, but, you would support your team as well, right! I hope the Indians win Friday nite and, more importantly, I hope that all the games are injury free.
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Good luck Indians but man that is a tough road.
NDNWarrior Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Yeah, I know. We've been there before and have prevailed. Thanks.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Hey, if you manage to defeat Central, and we beat Nederland, you're in the playoffs. If you're guys ingrain this in their heads and play like wild animals, watch out Central.
Guest PurplePride Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I like your attitude Indian Warrior!
NDNWarrior Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Again, thanks Bandsman! Thats what we're gonna have to do, play like "wildmen". Burnett will have these guys ready for Friday....should prove to be a good, ole fashioned, hard fought game. Our guys know whats at stake and will be ready. The winner of this game, will definitely deserve the Win. The same way with Dayton and Nederland.....the winner will deserve the victory.
jake94 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 bandsman, pn-g would have to beat central and dayton in back-to-back weeks to make it.. difficult and not probable, but always possible.
raidernation Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 PNG still has a chance even if they lose both games as long as Nederland loses both.
GoDogs27 Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 incorrect... if PNG loses both and Nederland loses both... its heads up... and even if it went to points... Nederland would go before PNG...
raidernation Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Incorrect GODogs27! It would depend on what other team finishes 3-4. Vidor, Lumberton, Ozen and LCM have the potential of finishing 3-4. Ned needs Vidor out and PNG needs LCM out.
GoDogs27 Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 Vidor beat Nederland by 4... Nederland beat PNG by 7... And PNG beat Vidor by 7 Worst case scenario... even if the above happens and all 3 teams are tied... Nederland is +3 Vidor is -3 PNG is 0 ...in the points system.... I havent looked at what else could happen... but come on... you are talking like a one in a million shot at every single thing going right...
